I feel that Contractors is amazing pvp, but I would love a true single player Vr port of Halo games and COD. That's some vr gaming I dream of. Half Life 2 VR was a long time dream , and now it's a reality and is top notch with the mod that was made. So great time for VR!!

Love this game, accidentally made a cod zombie lobby with no player limit and ended up with like 12 people in was an amazing time. The vr community is such a good group of people nearly all the time

I'm so glad it's not dead because it's such a good game. I play this very rarely, especially after I got Breachers, but every time I do play it, It's very fun and I have a blast.

Awesome video mate! I have never been into "realistic" pvp shooters on PC, and because of it I have never sought them out. I had no idea about all these great mods in contractors and I will definitely buy the game! I'm looking forward to the Halo-, Nina- and Team Fortress mod 🤩 Contractors just got themselves an extra player! 😁

I know it’s not pvp or multiplayer and the base game isn’t a shooter, but Blade & Sorcery is my favorite VRFPS. (If you have The Outer Rim and Ghetto’s Firearms mods.) The gun handling and attention to detail is probably as good as Contractors in the Ghetto’s Firearms mod, and the guns are very customizable. The Outer Rim is the best VR Star Wars “game” of all time. The blasters feel great and there are so many lightsabers with so much attention to detail that it just blew me away when I first downloaded the mod.

Agreed - my favourite VR PVP shooter right now. Even though Contractors was meant to be the COD equivalent and Onward the realistic one, Contractors has steadily added lots of little features that make it far better in my opinion: weapons collide with environments; it has full body IK; when you interact with weapon parts there are little hand animations which change depending on the angle (i.e. if you're using the AK charging handle, the hand pose changes if you reach under vs over the weapon with your left hand). While Onward moved onto Quest and went mostly backwards, Contractors moved onto Quest but seemed to add more and more details. Finally for realism fans like me, the PMC mod for Contractors adds some amazing features in like weapon jamming which I didn't even think would be possible to mod.

As someone who was a die hard Pavlov fan. Contractors is just objectively better. I personally would say I think the reloads in Pavlov are better as well as the gun models. But everything else contractors just does better. It’s such a polished game and it’s crazy how good the mods are.

The only thing keeping this game afloat is the mods. The last time there was any sort of update to the game was early January of this year. The developers said they were planning on making standard mode better but that was awhile ago.

I should definitely return to this game. I remember playing it when it was basically dead and the only server that had more than 1 person that I could find were on some buggy broken modded maps. Left me with a really sour taste of this game.

Contractors causes me to put almost every other Vr and flat screen game down. It's by far my go-to game. Fast pace and amazing mods and custom maps variety. Gunsmoke and Charm is my favorite mod for a while now Feels better than vanilla guns and makes more sense with TTK from what standard is too, imo.

I love contractors, and its my go to VR shooter right now due to all the great mods, although I do think the base game is really lackluster in places. Especially its sound design, which I feel is really weak for the base game weapons. Its never felt quite as crispy as Pavlov either.

Pavlov was established but Contractors' constant updates, polish and accessible mod support dethroned the king. Hopefully the CoD zombies replaces Pavlov.

Onward was originally my favorite VR shooter, but it self destructed for Quest support. So then Pavlov was the best. But then, as you say in the video, Contractors constant updates surpassed Pavlov and took over that position. Pavlov feels _old_ compared to Contractors these days. There's a lot of people still playing Pavlov that just don't know about how good Contractors has become. Maybe they tried it when it first came out years ago, and never looked back. However, now Breachers has entered the ring. And it's taking over.

I get the appeal but all the game modes are still musical chairs with people spawning behind you or right next to you. I wish it had more game mode variety on top of the loadout and map variety. It's only fun for people who like fast-paced Call of Duty type fare.

I like gameplay despite I am not into online PvP shooters. Graphics could be a bit better but at least performance is decent even on lower end PC. Can't compare to other PvP since I did not tried them but I think this one was good choice to start. I was considering Pavlov, Onward or Vail but this one looked best judging from community reviews, features and gunplay. Just can't play with zombie modes because their animation is poor and I believe there are some model scaling issues (sometimes they look like midgets when you get close to them and it does not feel right)

Not surprisingly, there are practically no new good vr games, or they come out so that in order to play you need to buy more headsets from another manufacturer, which is why people stop using headsets on a regular basis, and accordingly stop entering multiplayer games. Everything is interconnected, you can't just score on the gaming audience by switching to do some kind of metaverse and counting on the players to stay.

Great game, but sorely in need of an update. Unfortunatley it seems the devs have pivoted to their VR battle royale title though so this game probably won't be getting a lot of support in the future

I liked it a lot and also played the single player Zombie mode. However my favorite PvP as today it has to be VAIL VR and I strongly recommend also to try it because it has very original and neat ideas into the format. I think both games and Zero Caliber are really great to not miss, each has very unique quality to enjoy a lot on VR. I'm attending clasess and and exams so I'm busy on these days but I hope to play more when recover more free time so.... Hold those SERVERS!!!! :P

I couldnt get into contractors. The time to kill just seemed way to fast for a video game. There was probably some serious skill issue but i just didnt like if and refunded

That was me when I first played but you get better with time, give it another chance. The standard loadout is too sweaty and fast to kill like you said that’s why I play clone wars or halo or something. Much more fun and less sweat

Bought it, played 3 matches, refunded it. I loved the game and the gameplay. It certainly has a learning curve with the recoil and such. But in all 3 matches I ran into nothing but toxic people on my team. People being mean and toxic for no reason. So screw that game.
