Thanks for the list! I think you missed VR Dungeon Knight. It's a fantasy dungeon crawler with randomly generated dungeons and a focus on searching for hidden rooms and avoiding traps. No updates since 2020, but it's still a great game.

I often forget that some people have a hard time understanding how guns work. For me, i have been an absolute gun nut for years, i could operate even some of the most bizarre things keltec has to offer without a tutorial. I've got guns so second nature to me that it's more natural than driving a car, so i find it next to impossible to understand how some people don't get guns. But i suppose a more user-friendly experience with less intricacies would be easier for some people. But im still gonna hunt for the perfect vr game that accurately simulates guns because i don't have the time or money to go to the range.

I'm not a big fan of contractors personally just didn't do it for me

IN my opinion they should have just added all of these thing to boneworks and make it a better game they literally just made another boneworks with minor bug fixes and new missions and sold it as a new game

I genuinely think the Quest practically killed what VR gaming could have been. It was much more promising at the start with a lot of big concept projects. Then the quest came out and VR turned into little more then mobile games for the longest time. It still hasn't really recovered with the majority of games still needing to have support for the glorified phone hardware shoved into the quest. VR games were like Arizona Sunshine, VTOL VR, Duck Season, Into the Radius (technically came out after quest but obviously was in development before it), Boneworks and some other examples. Then the quest came out and... Nothing. Maybe you could say its just the initial hype of VR dying out, but I honestly think the completely trash specs of the first quest genuinely kneecapped VR development for so long. I just wish people realized how much of a difference those extra ~$300 made getting a real VR system. At least with the newest Quest 3 it isn't as bad and it seems like VR development is picking up again. But I think the first quest being the introduction to VR for so many people really killed the hype. Instead of people coming in to games like Arizona Sunshine or Half Life Alyx, people came in with beat saber and gorilla tag. Fine games but they are still tiny arcade experiences that don't have the same impact as proper fully fleshed out VR games. Makes it easy to dismiss VR as just a fad or fun side thing rather then a genuinely great platform. The quest was just too early, maybe VR in general was too early. But even now with finger tracking, 8k+ VR headsets that are practically impossible to tell apart from normal vision, proof that big budget VR games can be viable, and PC power to back it all up, I have a feeling this idea of VR being a little side thing, that really isn't anything more then a little arcade experience will linger for a while still.

MSFS VR mode is pretty shitty to navigate, but it is fun to sit ang fly in VR, especially in a jet cockpit with buttons that work in the cockpit.. it's pretty great

Sadly I had the most fun with modded flat games. RE 2, 3,7, 8... Small indie studios are simply not able to deliver such a beautyfull world. They either have some outstanding vr gameplay mechanics or are uninteresting for me. Also I still miss some timesink games like MMORPG's completely
