You don’t have to be a finance whiz to make Forbes’ World’s Billionaires list, but it sure does help. While people have gotten super-rich in everything from soy sauce to palm oil to damaged cars, being in finance, whether private equity or hedge funds or venture capital, is the most common way the world’s wealthiest got so rich.
In fact, nearly one in six billionaires, or just over 15%, made their money in finance and investments: these 427 individuals hail from countries as mixed as Estonia, Kazakhstan, Japan and the U.S. That’s up from the 372 names a year ago and includes 37 newcomers including Ben Navarro, founder of Sherman Financial Group (who is worth an estimated $1.5 billion), Cristina Junqueira of the Brazil-based digital bank Nubank ($1.4 billion) and Antonio Gracias, founder and CEO of Valor Equity Partners ($1.1 billion).
These billionaires-who also include bankers, fintech founders and full-time investors-are worth $2.17 trillion in all. Nearly two-thirds are richer than in 2023, no one more than Warren Buffett, who added $27 billion to his net worth thanks to record-high share prices for his conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway.

I think Bernard Arnault & Family was supposed to say $230 Billion, not $23 Billion

What are the best additions to a $500k portfolio to boost performance?. ETH is Up and will do better, I believe as indicators for profits continue to improve, investors like me believe that “Santa has come early” to the markets...

I think you're better off with majority investment in bitcoin and uprising equities cos they always outperform. Alternatively speaking to a certified market strategist can help with pointers on which to acquire.

I'm guessing Forbes made an error by posting $23 billion as Bernard Arnault & Family net worth, there probably should be a 2 in front of the 23 for a total of $223 billion.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.Making money is not the same as keeping it there is a reason why investments aren't well taught in schools, the examples you gave are well stationed, the market crisis gave me my first millions, people shy away from hard times, I embrace them.. well at least my advisor does lol.

Investors should be cautious about their exposure and be wary of new buys, especially during inflation. Such high yields in this recession is only possible under the supervision of a professional or trusted advisor.

I stopped trying to predict market outcomes based on chart studying after 5 years of uncertainty. Not having a mentor caused me 5 years of pain. I learned to follow the market's direction and keep it simple with discipline.

I won't pretend to know everything, though. Her name is Amber Dawn Brummit but I won't say anything more. Most likely, you can find her basic information online; you are welcome to do further study.

The interesting question here is not really what industries they are working in now but rather how they started. Because i'm willing to bet pretty much anything that most of these billionaires were born into their wealth. They might have managed to further increase their wealth but i bet that very few of them started at anything below a million in inherited wealth.

How can billionaires be thought of as successful as long as there is poverty?
@MR-te5fk
@MR-te5fk Ай бұрын
Why should a billionaire be responsible for helping anyone? People paid him for the value he provides, that's how he became a billionaire. Why does that make him responsible to help anyone who isn't wise enough to make a living? How many people did you help today? Exactly.
