One of the problems i have when hollidaying in India is the lack of footpaths I want to go for a walk but i have to walk on the road with dangerous traffic behind me. Where there are some footpaths they are badly broken or cars are parked on the footpaths. I find India is the comfort and joys at home however going out poses big problems

So what is your point. Should Indians quit the domestic help? If they can afford it they will, no body wants you judgement and opinion in that. They are not slave labor they get paid for it and it decreases some level of unemployment. Rich Americans also have domestic help.

Hi Nupur, enjoyed watching your videos. I'm your new subscriber. I live in Australia now. I left India 22 years ago, I lived in Newzealand & Australia for about 22 years now. My kids are born & raised in Newzealand. Several times I wanted to return back to India but I couldn't return because my kids can't speak Hindi or Kannada . Now my kids are studying in universities here. I definitely want to return to India when I retire. My major concern is about the weather because India is too hot & my body is now used to cold weather. How did you find the transition from US to India ,was it easier? My kids are Newzealand citizens and since they can't speak Indian languages, they think that it will be much harder for them if they move back to India . Can you please give more insight? Can you please share your thoughts on moving back to India a better decision? Or at some point did you regret? I love India, I want to live rest of my life in India. Any suggestions from your perspective will be greatly appreciated 👍👍 Many thanks 👍🙏😊

Thanks for your heartning story . loving india in theory and in actually are different things, so i suggest try it out for a year. Your kids reaction to india is totally dependent on their personality so cant say how that will go. Weather is a challege but in bangalore the weather is fair all year round, you'll like it :) If you need a personalised help reach out to me on my website and we can talk.
@SUJAMUK2 жыл бұрын
As your children are born in Newzealand, India will be a foreign country to them and they have all their friends in Newzealand. You have to live in a country where you feel as your home. You may come to India for few months but it won't be sensible for you to come-back permanently leaving your children behind.

You can leave India not thinking about settling in a foreign country. Immigrants have it really hard. I moved to US as a dependent and my mom is the H1B holder for our family. Though it seems pretyy cool and polished, once you come here, the reality hits you. I've dreamed about a lot of things but got restricted in many aspects. When I was in India I got to roam around the city and do everything with a lot of people around me. I feel so empty here. I'm going to a good school, got a comfortable home with all kinds of luxuries but it's so hard without people. I miss my friends of 10 years, my family and FOOD😭 I'm a vegetarian so it's heck of a problem to find any food here😭😭. I miss India sm! I guess I'll back after I'm done with my graduation.

If you are confused, means you are not convinced with the opportunity to move, and if not, please don't move. India has better life just not money, but Life yes.

I always wonder why many indians who went abroad for different reasons fuss so much about coming back home to roots and family, and go through so much troubles to justify that move.. i mean its ridiculous you spent your whole life, most likely until the end of college in india; so life is not exactly too bad here at home.. at the end of the day a foreign country is a foreign country; that country owes nothing to you and you go there seeking opportunities. they also dont issue visas to one and all, so its also not exactly charity . tomorrow when situation gets dire immigrants and foreigners will be the first to face the backlash...so many europeans, africans and south americans move back to their respective home countries after a few/many years abroad in some western country after taking a pay cut and loss of luxuries whenthey feel homesick. i dont see them justify their choice on youtube. home is afterall home, and if one is indian at heart india is a great country no matter what many perennial pessimist losers here say..it gives all possibilities to grow personally and professionally if one is original in thinking and social minded..problem with indians is most of us have a herd mindset and many are not capable of introspective thinking. as since indian minds overall are not very mature and introspective, they tend to repeat other peoples negative opinions like a parrot ,, life can be great anywhere tbh in any democratic country if we put our mind into it and think as per your own individual situation.
@madhurakattigehallimath31082 жыл бұрын
Exactly.. people born and brought up in India, move other countries for job or opportunity, and after few years living there, to come back home they feel like as if they have to go to some unknown planet.. it's too ridiculous..

If you have a certain level of social status, a certain level of expectations in life, chances are you won't be happy in the US because you won't get the recognition, the privilege you feel you deserve, regardless of the country you're from.

NRI is a very ambiguous term and spreads delusion too. You should explain the categories of NRIs such as what time of period NRI has lived abroad and where ? For example abroad can be Sri Lanka, Middle East, African nations as well where they draw different experiences from their surroundings and regimes are not different to our own in India where as NRI could be living there for few years but then there are NRIs (especially OCI card holders) who have not only lived in west for more than a decade (or even decades) but are used to a liberal governance and open press. What I have seen that most of your cases are based on IT professionals who have been there on a short stint and could have maximum of 5-7 years at the most but when I talk about these guys then you must know that for an Indian it takes at least 10 years abroad (if in west) where things starts to set in and internal change takes place - these people would be a different case then the guys who go there only to survive who live by cutting corners, looking for freebies, drink water from Tap to save on mineral water bottle or eat from Delis.
