You took a rikshaw for a 2 km journey which you could easily walk to; thereby not requiring a gym wrkout! It's called common sense.

Something that worries me about moving back to India is some people's judgemental nature. I know that the sense of community is stronger in India but the flip side is that every Tom, Dick, and Harry wants to know your business and people pass comments regarding your body, profession, and relationship status, especially if you're a woman. So, in a way, it's easier being a woman in the West in some ways for sure.
@NupurDave

Agree with that. easier living abroad. In most startups though you will find people who wont judge. So gotta find the right company

The Life in U.S. can be compared to Marrying our Aishwarya Rai.Initially anybody would be smitten with her Beauty but after some time inspite of the same best beauty you yearn for a change.Otherwise even if anybody is offered free meals at a five star hotel will run home for a simple Dal chawal after some time.

Most people in the US live alone and their children go to daycares while they go to work. Daycares typically close by 6pm. Also, help in terms of a maid that comes in everyday to do all household work is non existent. I have a very flexible job and I make sure to leave work by 4 every day. If I do have late meetings l, just call in from home. Leaving early helps me pick up my kids from daycare at a decent time, cook dinner, do any chores and spend some quality time with them. I grew up in India and my mom was a working women. She definitely had a lot more flexibility as we had a maid at home at all times who helped her significantly. This was one very important point you overlooked when you compared work hours.

Bangalore has the worst public-transport services in India. Although they're developing Metro quiet well, they lack wider roads, adequate busses and flow-though traffic, even after having so many one-way roads. Delhi has the best of-course, but that's debatable. I say this after visiting all IPL team cities in India (except Lucknow and Kochi ). Also visited nearly two dozen countries in Asia, Europe, Oceania, and also visited UAE and US (LA, LV and HNL cities). As far as I've witnessed outside India, best public transport is in Shenzhen. Among developed countries, the worst public transport is in Los Angeles.

Thank you for making videos on this topic. They were very informative and exactly what I was looking for. As you know the salaries in India is not much and it's very difficult to buy an apartment or make any other investment if we just depend on Indian salary. If I ask your suggestion, how much savings do you think we should have before moving back to India in Pune?

This is Bullshit Video. I've been born and bred in the UK. Still I love India and it's far better than the west - 1. Morning Walks - She mentions it's easier to go for a morning walk OR GO OUTSIDE? like really? you can't go outside in India? She mentions there is no outdoor activities in India? There are no activities in the West (UK, USA, Canada), unless you join a walkers/runners group, this is similar to India, you can find all kinds of groups. You can efficiently run or Jog in India, go to any park or walk on the road like many people. In the west, you won't find many people runing or jogging, only a small handful of people and it looks weird, why because people will stare at the one or two people running, where as in India the population just doesn't make it look weird, you're hidden. 2. Clean Air & Greener - She mentions the clean air in US, that I can't disagree on, it's true but India also has plently of greenery. I've seen more greenery in India than in the UK. 3. Gyms - Another BS! she mentions in the US she just drove to the Gyms but at the same time she mentions in India you have to be lucky else you have to drive to them? so what was the difference? She mention she tried several things like Boot Camps, Home Trainers, Ladies etc but this also applies to the West. I've tried almost 5 different gyms to find one that I like, all the instructors are different but my current one, I love the instructor, this also applies in India. Everyone's taste and preference is different, yet in India I've seen more gyms opening up, just where I lived, there was 4 gyms (walking distance) 4. UBER - While this is true, this also applies to the West, Cab companies are going to be so busy during peak hours it's simple logic. In India you can have a Bhaiya which is good, in the US you can't have that. Also, I've never drove in India, I've been driving for the past 18 years in the UK, I just rented a car in India and I loved it. So if you can drive in the West then you can drive in India, you just need to be a bit confident. 5. BUS - She mentions not being able to talk on the BUS, who said this? The problem with Indians is they don't mix well and most Westerners do not like to talk to us, we are never upfront, we are shy and timid therefore nobody will talk to us. Whereas the Whites, Blacks and Muslims are always upfront so you will see them chatting. 6. Breakfast - I just give up on her, I have no idea why I'm even wasting my time and to think I wasted like 10 minutes listening to this drab. Honestly, India is getting better and better; the infrastructure, the people, being able to walk at 1am and eat food, the safety, the weather vs the west, it's just so good. I've spent 4 months this year alone and moving home. Yes, there will be sacrifices but this is part of life no matter where you are. I'm not even going to correct my English here, you deserve this.

I totally agree with you, it makes no sense what she said, especially the walking/jogging thing and also the exercise/gym thing. She has to drive to the gym in both places what is the difference?
