Good for you Bill! My brother now lives in Manila and loves it. I visited him for a month and I agree, life is definitely different and slower than the US. At the same time, you have to have patience. That's a good thing that I've learned from being there. I'm planning on my retirement in SE Asia somewhere, probably in the Philippines with my brother.

I appreciate your comment. The city here is a good place to start. I am thinking about moving to a more Tuguegarao just because of the traffic here. I miss driving and would like to try a motor bike.

The Philippines is like living in a different world they say it's only meant for retirees,I say it's meant for anyone who have the patience, care about not only themselves but others. The Philippines is a place where people are happy to live simple and aren't trying to stay up to date with the latest things constantly😅.

@Bill Johnson. New Year's Eve is coming soon, and it is a spectacular event over there in the ph, I hope you guys will show us the best firecracker works display and coverage from the Philippines. Fireworks run more than an hour over there, so it is better to shoot it atop the building looking over the city....we'll be waiting for it... Love your vlogs. Keep it coming, "Love from 12 million overseas Filipino workers.

Thank you for your comment. It sounds interesting to me because when I first came to the Philippines I spent way too more than I should have. I found that not eating out all the time is much smarter for me. I seldom eat steak like I used to. Jollibee is one of the few places that I go out to eat.

@@jimmymata1283 I beg you please show me where is the coffee shop that sell 12 peso coffee , in Indonesia the neighboring country the whole goat 🐐 for 2000 pesos , you eat as much meat 🥩 as you want , Philippines 🇵🇭 is very unique dear , Philippines 🇵🇭 doesn’t make anything, it rely on imports which run by corrupted customs , that why everything’s is expensive and that why I had to leave because my retirement pension is not enough to sustain decent life , they took my passport when I came short for my medical bills, and trust me foreigners pay way more that locals and trust me when I tell you I know the foreigners who has been handcuffed to the bed until they managed to pay thier medical bills, it is really a nightmare to pay these high bills , in Vietnam the medicine is so affordable and locally made and very affordable . One week expenses in philipinese can last me 4 weeks in Vietnam or three weeks in Indonesia, no bad feeling, Filipinos are one of the kindest people I have ever met but I can’t afford the country, I am sure someone will find it appealing, wish you the best , enjoy your 1500 pesos steak 🥩😁.
