Specialized freight where it’s at, I only lasted 6 weeks w a box behind me. My brother and I started team driving for a Amazon relay company and dude was paying 1300 gross each for like two laps DEN-PORTlAND-LA-DEN i made the same money as local box truck moving driver in PHX, once we went to system to start flatbed they paid us 1.00 cpm split we would see like 1600-1800 weekly nets each but it was a super hard schedule. Solo flatbed at a non mega company I would see $1980 net on the high end just running garage doors multi drop loads going out and some load board shit to get back to AZ. It was alright for a little bit. Didn’t see the money I liked until I jumped on a stinger car hauler otr. Had good weeks were I made 2k + net for two weeks in a row sometimes but for the most part I see similar to what I saw in flatbed but less days on the road. I’m out 4-5 days max before I see the house. Back and forth routes best way to truck long term. Stable
