I have hauled some heavy trailers with my 2002 super duty 7.3powerstroke. I will take a 7.3 for towing over any other truck on the road. I have towed with the 6.7 powerstroke, the 7.3 is so much smoother and doesn't hardly downshift going up normal grades, obviously in the mountains it does.

LOUD 'N' PROUD I respect hard work I'm 18 and roofing I want to be a contractor and eventually have my own business Im looking at a 6.0 because I just LOVE that sound not the worst or the best you have to work them out you don't have to need a truck to buy one but if you just want a truck it is best to go gas I see rich people with brand new Dmax Cummins and Powerstroke but nothing to tow they buy it as a daily driver diesel for city driving is not so good especially for new diesels

IF your working on the farm all day and still loading hay till 1:00am, your not a punk kid! Your a young man that understands what a hard days work actually is. Most of the youngsters here could take a lesson from your work ethic. Job well done to dad for raising you right! That truck need a set of bags on it, had to put a set on my F250 and I regularly haul 25K. And put some air in those tires!
@jacobreeves97297 жыл бұрын
Little tip, put the hay bales more towards the ramps on the back of the trailer. It will help with the ride quality and it won't squat the truck so bad. Keep the videos rolling! Love this channel.

I remember when I was 14,15,16 I baled hay and straw for a farmer up the street and the farmer had 3 other guys working for him that were around 20 at the time and I didn't get along with them they thought I was a dumbass kid and I thought they were worthless lazy daddy's truck driving idiots and the second year I worked for the farmer he asked me how much I'd be willing to work and I told hem as much as he needed me so he had me working 12 hours 5-6 days a week loading the barn for 2-3 weeks that's all I did was work in that 120 degree barn while the other farm hands worked 8 hours then he had the college guys do it one at a time and by the end of the week all 3 quit he told me he did it on purpose because he had some other guys that were wanting to work for him but he don't like firing people so he had them do the hardest/hottest part of the job so they'd quit and realize how lazy they really were when me a 15 year old kid did it for 2+ weeks without complaining the farmer gave me a raise and I trained the new guys on what to do and after they got the hang of it I drove a tractor the rest of the summer and the whole next summer other then the rare occasion someone called in or needed to finish faster because of rain I know this story is long but I learned a lot from that farmer and my first job hard work pays off and even tho your the best worker having to do the worse job watching lazy people do easy work for the same pay doesn't mean it's not going unnoticed keep your head down and keep moving and you'll work past the hard parts

I'd rather haul that than triple live axle trailers snaking the way down the road. If you're going to go far with that tonnage, you might want to add another 15psi to the rear tires, help take some of the squat out of them. They might be at the max but you can run quite a bit over the 'rated' pressure, burst pressure is someplace around 400

only 2 minutes into the video and I love it, I'm only 17,though I wish I had your lifestyle, my mom's side of the family lives it. I'm living with pop's till I get outta high school then once I get outta welding school Idk where life will take me. No show or braggin. jus straight up vlog. no prejudice over which truck is better. I understand about the tow mirrors. sometimes it's just easier to leave em folded out if you're constantly towing stuff. but god, dipping diesel like @ouv said is jus god awful.
