I have a 6.7 powerstroke in my 2015 F550. I live in Minnesota and for snow plowing have an 8ft Western "Wide Out" Contractor Grade snow plow on the front (1,050 lbs with mount), haul about 4 tons of salt in the box (8,000 lbs) and haul a trailer (3,500 lbs) with a Bobcat S770 (9,315 lbs) with a snow plow (985 lbs), snow bucket (550 lbs), and a 66" bobcat snow blower attachment (810 lbs). For a total of a little over 24,000 lbs and it still gets up and goes just fine.

Not as impressed but now i have a 97 f350 7.3ps( knock on wood dont jinx me. 1 week to buckley now) i anticipate being 22k with only running my edge evolution tow tune and stock down pipe and 3 inch straight pipe(for now run out of time and money) next year new injectors and customizing 5 inch exhaust kit for pickup models on my cab n chassis model

You could swap out the blown fuse on your dually with the working one from Nasty Red for the time being, since it’ll get your truck running again. I mean, you’ll have to order a new one inevitably, but this’ll at least get your truck back on the road. (edit: If the fuse even is the problem, it’ll fix it for now.)

I've deleted my EGR, replaced the exhaust, added a larger turbo, and upgraded the radiators, and with all these mods done I can pull about 19,000 lbs from Pennsylvania to Iowa and average 14 mpg and you really cannot tell that you're pulling that much weight. I have a 2012 F250 with 114K miles on it.

My grandpa hauled 30k of round bales often on a flat bed with his 09 6.4 f250 with a tuner and deleted with a 5 in pipe. He has a 2017 ram 3500 non dually stock now and he puts up to 35k but we go less that a mile on the highway. Both trucks suspension are fully bottomed tho 😂😂

@AmericanMan9617 жыл бұрын

valdo DelReal I’m no expert... but those are good tucks if deleted and a remanufactured turbo with better parts to replace the stock one.. they are none to go out on 11-14 6.7’s 100k-250k Miles... otherwise awesome trucks
@alexpuls82196 жыл бұрын
Do it! Those 6.7's are dead reliable. I would argue it's the best diesel ford has ever offered.
@ItMeZumn6 жыл бұрын
180k mi on a '12 and more than half of it was with max 30k tows. No issues yet. Just keep regular fluid topped off, especially your oil, that'll kill the turbo quick. An option would be an higher capacity oil pan, that adds 8qts. Retails for like $300...
