If I am not mistaken all stats quoted by the manufacturer are flywheel kilowatts. The stats from this dyno should be wheel kilowatts. Using a fly wheel to wheel calculator 147kw = 132.3 wheel kw.

That dyno run was really intteresting. While a vehicle is usually in the ball park wrt KW and NM... I was surprised to see the KW was down 10% while the NM where up about the same, before the go go juice. I wonder if the figures would be much different here at the coast. Does that auto shop have a branch in Cape Town perhaps? I'd be willing to take my car in to test so we can compare.

Yeah it was interesting!! That's why I wanted to do the video 😀👌🏽 it's always interesting to see how the car actually performs compared to the stock figures given by VW. Although... One thing to keep in mind is that the dyno's at different shops are all slightly different. So that also may have an affect on the stats. I actually think they do have a branch there in Durbz... Google Thanas Tuning Durban... I think I saw a few things come up...

Flip man.. That's a tough one. Pretty much nothing really. But you could get away with doing small things and by having a good relationship with the VW service people... I honestly couldn't guarantee you a solution bro 😢

What octain fuel do you get in south africa i only use shell 99 octain but I'm in uk i have same car 2021 and thought it would be higher kw

Our highest at shell is 95 Unleaded. So I think that's equivalent to 91 octane... So I'm not sure. But you guys definitely have better fuel than us 🤝🏽
