Hi I have a question about time. You mentioned that we must create a course at least once every six months. But how long do you take to create a course? Does it make a difference if we upload more often ?

You're only bounded to create a course every 6 months if you're a Top Teacher, otherwise there's no requirement. It takes me about a month to create mine. The more you upload, depending on the quality of the class, I tend to make more money every month.

Hello , I've been following your videos and I greatly value your insights as a top Skillshare teacher. Recently, Skillshare made some significant changes to their teachers' pay structure, reducing the Royalty per minute watched by half and increasing referral earnings by 90%. This seems to have caused many teachers to lose interest in uploading courses, particularly those who rely solely on Skillshare's platform for their audience. I'm curious to know your thoughts on this change and how you think it will impact both new and existing teachers who don't have an established audience outside of Skillshare. Thank you for sharing your expertise and shedding light on this matter.

Yes, the change has been in effect for more than half a year now so in terms of how it will impact existing teachers, they definitely already know how it is affecting their revenue. Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to ever revert back to how revenue was paid out before, so the only way to grow on the platform is to continue investing into creating quality classes. As an entrepreneur, I don't think it's ever wise to rely on any one third-party platform as your sole revenue source or audience. So as you're growing on any platform, it's smart to create a deeper connection and bring them into your world on other platforms, whether that is on your email list or even other social media platforms.
