15+ year Firefighter here. Yes, the smoke ignited. When smoke reaches high temps the particles will ignite causing a chain reaction. The heat generated from the tire friction and the exhaust combined with the perfect (bad luck) air/fuel mixture will cause smoke to ignite. Add hot vaporized rubber and you have a nice fireball. This convection spread is just one of the ways fire will spread through a house fire. #themoreyouknow #DDEfullsend

Yeah those aren't mechanics. I am but this isn't about mechanics it's about explosives. Many materials are explosive in a specific concentration , including rubber. If the rubber particles in the air achieve a specific concentration , an explosion results if ignited.

When you did the burn and did a full send after that I knew you were the real deal. You legitimately became a hero of mine, you are as raw and real as they get. So thank u for all the hard work you and Dave and your team put in lots of people just don’t get what’s involved in editing, sound, etc when it comes to making a quality video and on average your videos are anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes long doesn’t sound like much but that in itself that is hours upon hours of work. Burnout cars catch fire when ya have rear breaks the exhaust gets so hot that it ignites the rear brakes and that's one of the reasons why aussie burnout cars dont have rear brakes at all

Alright firefighter here, the darker and thicker the smoke the more burn able materials in the smoke, so when it gets hot enough and exposed to a flame source like the exhaust flames it ignites the dense smoke, more commonly know in house fires as a flash over. All conditions were right and that's exactly what happent reviewing videos of the event. No engineering fault, no mechanical fault, nobody's fault but Damen for having a fun time

@@hazyblue69 nope if the turbo's were that hot and the exhaust manifold no unburnt fuel would make it out of the exhaust tips. The reason for the fire was the flames from the exhaust igniting molten rubber/dust/smoke setting the tyres on fire.

Still low for a v12 or v10 whatever. It's probably a safer style tune. Hints constantly hitting rev limiter ..my stock Honda motor revs to 8500 and can be raised to 9k pretty safely. Although if it had 1000hp to the wheels and could make all the power at 7k I'd run it at 7k just to keep it safe for the motor. Just my opinion.
