I'm glad you made this video. Me being 19 myself, I found a 2014 challenger sxt for 15k. I have a little saved; just enough for the down payment. I have a minimum wage job with no credit and everyone on my back saying it's a stupid idea to buy a car like that at my age. Well maybe it is stupid, but that's my dream car. That's my motivation for working hard. And I hope to be able to purchase it soon. And even after purchase I will work hard, get two or three jobs if I have to, so that I can pay what I need to pay to keep the car. Josue Reyes if you have no prior credit history, ie, no bills you pay, etc. Then take $300, go to your bank and ask for a secured credit card. Use that card for 6-12 months, use it for gas, some snacks, small purchases. Keep the balance under 30% of the $300 limit so ~$95/mo. After 6 months I built mine from 0 to 680ish, then got a regular credit card (with no annual fee, with 5% cash back on gas/groceries, 2% on food, 1% on everything else). If you have some sort of credit history, go down to your bank and get a credit card with cash back and no annual fee. Never go over 30% of your limit and in 6 months you'll have decent credit (that is if you haven't screwed up your credit in the past and are looking to rebuild it).

I'm 27 and have an 2017 RT5.7L myself. Currently leasing with rank C rating credit. Paying 314$ on the car per month and 1054$ per year on insurance. I also live in the state of Michigan so our insurance is higher than most states. I took the car out of the dealership for 544$. They waved my first month payment, Included tire protection and rubber floor mats as part of the deal for free. The car may seem like a lot per month but with credit like mine a ford focus would have cost about the same. So i got something that at least looks cool and is fast. Sticker price was 37k. No auto start or backup camera.

The real kicker people fail to look into is the insurance. Dependent on your age and driving record, expect to be paying on the high end. 22 year old clean driving record at 12k miles a year paying roughly $220 a month.

Due yourself a favor with cars and look for quality used cars with low miles... thousands and thousands of cars are lost from people who can't afford them and they have nothing wrong lease ends dealer puts up vehicle for sale with 10k miles often... i snagged me a v6 stang for 16k only had 10k miles when i bought it... literally saved myself almost TEN THOUSAND dollars the v6 was going for 24k new almost at every dealer those tiny 10k miles takes a fat chunk of a new msrp car price.. cars do nothing but deteriorate never buy new buy used and low mileage just make sure the vehicle has had oil changes.... and get a quality inspection from a QUALIFIED mechanic.. a lot of sites actually provide inspections on there used car sales for peace of mind the 127 point inspections or whatever there called... im like this guy i had a big savings for a down payment.. only i got a great deal and KEPT my savings and just financed the 16k.... amazing deal and rate for a 305hp car with only 10k miles

I got mine for 30K. It's about the same price because people seem to forget that the interior isn't stock. It's the sxt plus but they sell it like a regular sxt. Now you can go buy a V8 for the same price but nothing is custom. Most people would pay 800+ a month while I only pay half of that with 5% interest. I'm 21

Luckily for me my dad was a mechanic, so when i get my first car i do not have to spend thousands extra on maintenance, he is teaching me to do it MYSELF. It is one of the harder things to learn, but saves you time and money, should just apprentice with someone.

man this the second guy i've seen get fucked over NO WAY IN HELL im paying 45k for a damn R/T, people are so caught up in getting ever thing brand new when they could get a used car with damn near no miles with warranty thats better.Used R/Ts with less than 20k miles go for 20k. 15/16 scat packs are going for the low 30s, hell add 5 grant to the 45k and you could of been in a used hellcat. Used cars are not bad and most newer used cars are repos or leases.

I'm 20 years old I have a Camaro I pay 320 A month I had to have my father co sign the car for me but it's my first car loan. I have minimum credit just credit cards. The interest rate was 10 because of my dad. Under me myself I was able to have a bank approve me but wanted 24.9 interest rate which shot the payments extremely high. So my father had to co sign for me to help me out. I put down 3k down that I saved from selling cars. I bought extended warranty. You have to take into consideration the price of the car you have tons of things to add on as he shows in the video. Many dealerships have dealer fee ranging from 400-1000$ then you have your registration fees. I wanted to buy a challenger but I always loved Camaros. I was already pulled over being my age cops judged me and when they saw the vehicle registration had my name they let me go. I have 6 credit cards which is to many. My best card I have a is a American Express platinum card which I pay yearly for it. Good luck with the vehicle I enjoy my new Camaro. I'll refinance my vehicle in 6 months get a better rate. Pay on time that will shoot your credit up and keep below 30% of he limit
