In afritada don't forget to add bay leaves. Green peas can also be added. In the asado filling you can also put 1-2 pc. star anis to make the flavors more intense.

You can use ground pork or ground beef and potato, onion, carrots, and raisin as a filling for the bun. Firstly, sautee them first. And it's good also filling for siopao 😋

I was happy to see your mom cooking champorado. That is my favorite, esp when the temperature here in TX is freezing. In the Phil, Pinoys usually pair dried salty fish with champorado but not us here in TX. We love to eat champorado with crispy bacon. Try it and you will love it.
