I wore braces for about a year when I was 27..only had the top front teeth..about six in all ..I loved my braces! They really helped straighten my teeth,, although I didn't wear my retainer like I should do they did shift a bit.

Hi! i have a consultation for braces tomorrow, and was wondering how long after your consultation did you get the braces put on (a few weeks?)? Im excited and impatient and want them on asap lol!!

Hello! I actually got them right away. I had the consult on a Friday and had braces on, Monday! If you tell them you want them on asap they typically will make that happen.

Megan Kaye-Hinves No, they typically​ don't do that unless you sign contract that day if you do then they may go ahead and do that, that day. I love my braces, I joke with my orthodontist that I'll keep them on forever.
