+Ebony Frink Just because a mom works outside of the home, doesn't mean she isn't devoted. In fact, I find our time together to be awesome! They are in school all day, so I miss NOTHING. I give them everything they need.
@lindamcneil7117 жыл бұрын
This in no way implies that. Working mother is less devoted to her children. I have done both. That said, I do know that when I was home, my full focus was on the children. My heart, mind and energy was there. When I worked, I was divided.., it is a woman's choice and I am grateful for the choice to be able to work and the ability to stay home. Both families can have strong relationships with their children... neither should condemned or demeaned because they choose to work or they choose to stay home.

Stay at home mom is a job!!! After all my kids were in school I went to work part time and although there were adjustments it was good for everyone because the children had more responsible and I was fulfilled because I was doing something that someone actually paid me to do. So both times of my life were good: stay at home mom and working outside of the home too. It's amazing how people's lives are so much the same especially people in the church. Trials with kids, family get togethers, folding cloths, pack meeting, aprons, etc. love your blog. I'm new to this but just wanted you to know how much I enjoy you and your ideas. And yes I am cleaning and organizing my bathroom today. But I'm starting a quilt with our trip to Nauvoo as the theme so I may spend more time in the sewing room than cleaning.

Loved the way you did this video! I appreciated the wisdom with 'letting go.' My kids are all teens and soon transitioning into adulthood. My grandma always said when it comes to your kids, get rid of all pre-conceived notions. Like you said, you have this picture in your mind of how things will be as a mom.
