You are a real Mom, with real situations, and I appreciate your honesty in your videos so, so much! You are a breath of fresh air in the KZbin world where editing and photoshop make some people's lives seem too perfect. I am slowly growing my channel and look up to you as a source of motivation and inspiration to keep going on those days where I wonder, "why am I doing this?" Thank you so much!! Hugs from Texas, Shelly

+Ebony Frink Just because a mom works outside of the home, doesn't mean she isn't devoted. In fact, I find our time together to be awesome! They are in school all day, so I miss NOTHING. I give them everything they need.

This in no way implies that. Working mother is less devoted to her children. I have done both. That said, I do know that when I was home, my full focus was on the children. My heart, mind and energy was there. When I worked, I was divided.., it is a woman's choice and I am grateful for the choice to be able to work and the ability to stay home. Both families can have strong relationships with their children... neither should condemned or demeaned because they choose to work or they choose to stay home.

Why would anyone feel bad about making money on youtube?!? Wow....I've never heard of that. Most people don't realize how much work it is to create, manage, edit and maintain a youtube channel. I'm a working mom of 2 toddlers & a wife. Plus I make youtube videos. I plan on creating a video about juggling everything because its a lot of work but so worth it.

You can take cooking classes all over your area, but my grandparents subscribed to all the cooking magazines back in the day(now we have internet) and commit that each week you will try something new! The reason why I say do it now is so you can have those memories w/ your kids helping you in the kitchen, to help them learn too, but you will have a broad taste pallet w/ your children. Best memories are made in the kitchen! Love your channel! I am binge watching ya! lol Marisa in Az(former Pastry Chef)

Stay at home mom is a job!!! After all my kids were in school I went to work part time and although there were adjustments it was good for everyone because the children had more responsible and I was fulfilled because I was doing something that someone actually paid me to do. So both times of my life were good: stay at home mom and working outside of the home too. It's amazing how people's lives are so much the same especially people in the church. Trials with kids, family get togethers, folding cloths, pack meeting, aprons, etc. love your blog. I'm new to this but just wanted you to know how much I enjoy you and your ideas. And yes I am cleaning and organizing my bathroom today. But I'm starting a quilt with our trip to Nauvoo as the theme so I may spend more time in the sewing room than cleaning.

I love your style with these Q and A videos! You're just doing your thing, housework, laundry, and I feel like I'm sitting there with you at the other side of the table sipping my tea. You definitely have a natural talent for being likable and authentic and friendly, and I love that you get paid for that. I'm extremely introverted so it wouldn't work for me, but you are using your gifts to brighten our days, and that's awesome! New subbie here. :)

listening to you talk about the lofty expectations we have on ourselves was so therapeutic for me. I struggle severely with perfectionism & anxiety traits that I don't want. my brain is split between needing things a certain way & just going with the flow. Hearing you get in to that was just what I needed. BTW you've motivated me to look for my first apron to put that pep in me. :) God Bless you & I'm thankful for your channel.

Loved the way you did this video! I appreciated the wisdom with 'letting go.' My kids are all teens and soon transitioning into adulthood. My grandma always said when it comes to your kids, get rid of all pre-conceived notions. Like you said, you have this picture in your mind of how things will be as a mom. Through the Lord, I'm trying to rid myself of anxiety, among other things, giving them over to Him. (Otherwise the anxiety will take over.) Thank you for sharing your life!

You are a darling person and such a good wife and mama! You deserve every good thing coming your way! Also, I love, love, love your hair up. So pretty!

I had to pause and say two things: #1 - Can you please share a tutorial on how you fix your hair? Is it the tipsy tail just done over and over? #2 - I have two homemade houseboats. On days I don't go anywhere, I will wear them all day. I'm 30. No shame! They are my best friends...and my husbands nemesis. 😛

I really enjoyed your chat about youtube/editing/housewife/mom; that too, is exactly how I feel. I have always loved "directing/editing" videos since I was very young! And I took was interested in wedding videography- I am actually getting married this spring! ♥ I plan to vlog that too hehe. I hope my channel will grow, I have just begun but I am going to work hard because I too would love to work from home. Home is where the heart is!! ♥ xx K

Thank you for being so honest! I wish this were around when I was a young mother and being hard on myself (so that I didn't feel so alone). You have a great, healthy, realistic attitude about motherhood! Are you Mormon?

So very true, why beat yourself and everyone else in the house up, because everything isn't perfect. It's crazy and doesn't help anything. At the end of the day we're here for a short time, and its not worth sweating the small stuff. Life is for living we do the best we can,, we teach the kids the best we know how and that's all any of us can do. When I was a stay at home mum. I did it all. I saw it as my job and tbh it was quicker and nobody could do it better anyway. (my OCD told me 😊) your doing a great job , your making it real and your loved by all in your home, and on here ❤️👌🏡 I. M in aww of all the hard work you all do on you tube it looks so much hard work. You deserve every penny oops! Dime you get. And more power too you all. Hugs from me. In Scotland, 🤗🤗💕💕🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thanks for sharing how much you earn on KZbin ... I am just starting out and it is so hard! I don't do it for the money, as I have made less that $1 thus far, but eventually it sure would be nice to actually get a paycheck!

The apron signals "work mode" or "do it mode". Magic apron. My sneakers do that for me. I call them my magic shoes. But... I love my cobbler apron. Snaps up the front. 2 big pockets. Never thought to think of it as a super cape. Good thought!
