The '79 Mustang(and Capri) came with several different wheel/hubcap options. One rarely seen is a steel wheel with a black plastic center cap(lugs exposed) with or without a trim ring, then there's a turbine style wheel cover(I think it was a Ghia standard wheel), a wire wheel cover and of course the TRX wheel. The Capri also offered a strange rectangle/square/triangle shape style wheel(not sure if it's a wheel or a wheel cover though) as well.

@latemodelrestoration4 жыл бұрын
Hi Calvin, You would have to source and use 79-80 doors for the lower handle arrangement and that isn't something that is reproduced new at this time, unfortunately.

I recently purchased a 79 Krieger Cobra. I can't find much info on exactly what a Krieger is. It has metric wheels, a factory (from what I can tell) 3.73, C4 and 302. Other than that it's just like any other 79, just has Krieger badging on the hatch.
@HackoDis4 жыл бұрын
Krieger could be a dealership. There was a Twister option for the mustangs in the 80's and that was a dealer only special.

@@HackoDis The only thing I've found suggests a German version but they weren't released there as far as I know. It's nothing special, other than the gear and badging it's like any other 79 Cobra.
