I get asked this question alot. One of you suggested that I do a breakdown of the costs to build a block garden house like we build. Loved this video to see from start to finish in one go. Really admire your transparency. I don't know of many builders who would be happy to film themselves and allow clients and everyone else to view them at work. You are an honest man and that has to be commended in this day and age. Also you say you are not a bricky but that side wall looked damn near perfect to me. I live near Wimbledon and if I needed a builder I'd definitely hire you but I am moving back to my homeland soon after 37 years here. Agree with your comments 100% - I think in today's day and age everyone wants to out-do one another and this transparency always helps. Customers (reasonable) expect you to earn a living from the job as well as pay for staff. In my view, showing them what it actually costs will allow customers to understand where most of their money goes. I hope you are charging people a fair price as I would happily pay for your workmanship and honesty, even if it meant paying more than 10% than another cheaper quote.

One of your best vid's, Gives the home owner a intelligent break down of material costings for (6 by 4m) build . Most builder's won't like it, I like the step by step approach to vid , a running materials cost of each stage of construction, Obviously Cost will vary on access, Site Conditions, building materials price's, labour rate's insurance, profit and square metre size's. The videos of your building projects are a good insurance policy for you too, Once you build to spec, snagging/ payment shouldn't be a Problem, if you have to go down the legal route, U have a record of the project etc. The Videos are Also a good marketing tool for your business, Gives the Customer peace of mind, cuts out the 🐄🤠 builder's. Wow, thank you guys. I normally skip through videos longer than 5 minutes even if its on a topic I'm interested in. Despite that this was a well detail spoken video, I genuinely enjoyed the tempo of the person speaking and their the tone too which helps because it keeps one listening, we're not board! Can I come and work with you and your team as an apprentice. Fantastic video Dazza, Great to see what goes into the build process regarding material costs alone, I estimated around £10500 so was not to far out. It would have been interesting to know how much you charged the client for your labour as well but this I understand differs between jobs and that you would probably not want to disclose these numbers, Would I be too far out if I thought the total build plus labour would come in around the £20000 mark ? I’m about to attempt to build my own garden room and watching your videos as best content out there What block do you use ? I was going to use a light weight block but my plasterer advised me to use solid concrete blocks as the light weight are prone for cracking Keep up the good work Cheers
