You guys are more of a personality channel than anything but i know a lot of your viewers came from poorhammer who are predominantly 40k based. I think youll take hits on AoS stuff until the AoS community recognizes your consistently putting out stuff for them at which point id say your views per video would level off. I'd love to see you cover the rest of the factions! I'm always here for more AoS content on this channel. Anything to show the people more reasons why AoS is better than 40K. However. . . You missed their Faction Terrain, the Gnawholes, those are 100% necessary for Rat Gameplay. A few of their army rules require you have the Gnawhole kit, so, that should be factored it, even if they're always out of stock in the GW webstore.

Faction terrain is such a weird one. Some factions you NEED the piece, like a pyramid for the Seraphon for example. Gnawholes for Skaven I think you can absolutely replicate with a marker to bring the cost down!

You're not missing out on several army rules if you don't have a Realmshaper Engine, just access to some chip Damage and a terrain piece to block LoS. Skaven actually have dedicated faction rules linked to their terrain piece.

5:52 they were recreating the old Vanguard box, but since that included old Clanrats they replaced them with the new ones. The old Grey Seer actually stands up fairly well. He was in the last wave of WHFB minis (End Times era in 2013). He's not as cool as the new one, but if you want two in your army then he makes a good alternative sculpt.

Skaventide + Skaven Spearhead, 1900 pts right there, 210.38 pounds. And you can just sell the Stormcast side or split it... might not be the most competitive list, but has a lot of variety and its very cheap for a full army. And at this price point, you can spend a little more in something you want to double up and would be fine, want more Clanrats, get a couple of boxes, want some Jezzails, do it. This 2 boxes allow you to shift from Skrye to Moulder to Verminous quite easily by getting a couple of extra units in any direction.

TeChNIcAlLY Skaventide is supposed to be limited edition so couldn't use it in-case someone wanted to use this in years to come. (although Skaventide shows no sign of going OOS...)

@@the_kieran_show fair. But its just to point out how right now its very easy and cheap to get Skaven (and also Stormcast). Once Skaventide goes away, a couple of Spearheads (or starter sets, while 4th lasts, or mix) can also do the trick. Oh how i wish this was how things are for every faction in AOS and 40k, but alas, GW got to GW :(

5:50 if you look at sprue in startee/lauch box you will see one sprue have that wizard and engener on one spru. So thay had old sprru with just old wizard and new one wold not fit engener box in prise/poitnts/balance. Sao thay fit the old spru. That my theory.

Moulder is probably the cheapest way to go. A big monster lord with lots of R'ogres and Stormfiends from the box sets and a couple of their monsters (~300 points) gets you there really quickly.

I dunno boys. I bought Skaventide, the vanguard for the stormfiends and warp cannon and extra rats, Vizik Scour, a Doom Wheel and 3 more Jezzails off ebay for about 650 USD. I also have a solid start to Storm Cast Eternals or a good Spearhead for said format for the same price you guys said and I feel a more solid army.

Great video. AOS is my favourite....but 40k is 2nd place for me. It is actually crazy that many places that stock Warhammer here is Oz don't give us poor plastic addicts any discount. I love that our local store does, but some items don't get the full discount he usually does, because he can only get a limited number of some things.

Love this type of content and would love to see more, however there are a few issues: 1. You didn't define any rules/goals apart from "How much will this cost?" 2. It feels like this is intended for newer players who want to know how much it'll cost to start, and I feel like using named characters for that, let alone 2, is disingenuous. 3. On top of the previous point, there are no Stormvermin for Krittok to buff when his whole thing is buffing Stormvermin. 4. People *will* copy the lists you show, so making sure they are at least decent lists might be a good idea. I personally would do a Verminlord instead of Vizzik and a Brood Terror or Hell Pit Abomination instead of Krittok, and you'd still end up at 2k for I think slightly cheaper.
