Thank you Jules. There's so much mystery around getting the pictures you'd like and just getting your children's story out there. You are a hard worker; most youtubers do not respond. Any suggestions for "a skeleton/components" of a picture book? "Teacher" provided us with the classic formula for a children's story. Any suggestions?

If you check out my other vids, particularly the one called What Should I Write in a Picture Book (I think, from memory) it will give you more of a skeleton type approach. Otherwise my course is useful and currently on offer (she says shamelessly plugging 😆) Check out the link in my latest vid. On until 10th Sept. Good luck!

Great video! I’ve just had your channel recommended to me by a friend. I am currently working on my first childrens book, based on one of my songs. I have wanted to write it for many years and this year, it’s time 🙂 I look forward to looking at your other videos. Thank you for creating, sharing and helping!

Hey Jules! When you bought those 300 copies of the better quality books, how did you sell them? Online, in stores, shipping them yourselves? ty!
@JulesMarriner Жыл бұрын
All of that. I try to have whatever marketplaces that work 🤓

Great tips but there is one aspect I am not clear with. If I use KDP or other print on demand, would I get paid straight into my bank account every time a book is sold or would I have to transfer the revenue?
@JulesMarriner Жыл бұрын
You would normally get paid directly once a month. (Not every time you sell a book.)

Hi Jules, @ 5: 53 How do you get control over the paper and get a paper you like if you don't like the paper with print on demand? Is there a way?

I’m in the UK- so it’s £Sterling. You can look for a converter on Google and convert £ to your currency.
