In 2024, I spent 11 grand to start almost from scratch (already had a full A license). Got a Royal Enfield Interceptor new, my insurance is just under £600 for the year, and I went a bit overboard on the gear.

The LXR is actually a good bike but I wouldn't be as reliable as the yammie especially if you are riding all year round it's ok for a summer toy 👍

Bike 2000. Insurance 900 ish. Gloves 80. Bottoms/top protection 300. Helmet 200. That's the bate minimum in my eyes.

@@louisbloodworth9175 That is something you gonna have to learn to ignore as you ride along. Maintain your position/authority in the lane. If someone is eager to overtake then let them do it at their own will when they have the chance.

pretty sure most 50 ccs, manual ones anyway, will hit 60 mph, which is all you need, considering you can only ride 60 mph roads with L plates afaik, make sure you buy second hand too, who cares if its been dropped, insurance will be cheaper and easier to get

How do you learn how to change gears on motorcycles? Is that part of CBT or like car driving lessons, you need to take lessons?

I learnt it off KZbin and can ride a motorbike really well

I taught myself but a CBT will teach you if you a manual CBT but KZbin and practice Is also a great way

@@NathRides no not motorways I recently took my bike out for a trip and it was the A299 road it looks like a highway but it’s not I guess someone said it’s a first class road and I can ride there but I’m still worried you know. Can you take a look if that’s true or I shouldn’t be riding there. They said that highways are blue on map usually M roads and that is A road
