So because this is an accredited private school, does that mean you don’t have to do the typical homeschooling process in your state and you just register them.

Hey there! That depends on your individual state's requirements. Our state considered it a homeschooling program, so I was required to report to the State and register my son as a homeschooler. Other states consider LUOA to be a private school and do not require you to register as a homeschooler. LUOA keeps the official transcript and they have academic resources that a regular homeschooling program does not typically have. I hope that helps.

Are there any additional fee charges for the elective courses for year 9 - 12. For example Consumer Math, Year 12.

Is not online only or can it be downloaded? Just curious if my son has to have wifi in his tablet or if he can download 1 month at a time?

The lessons cannot be downloaded. They don’t unlock until you finish the previous assignments. The curriculum is dependent on a Wi-Fi connection, but sometimes you can access it with a cellular connection. All graded assignments will need to be uploaded.

I love LUOA ❤️ we started this year and my children loved it. My son will start kindergarten for the 22-23 school year. What I'm wondering is does LUOA offer discounts? I was just thinking about this as some people may need a little help. Do you know?

really curious if you've tried out programs like time4learning, was hoping the prices would be a bit cheaper for LUOA. On average how many hrs per day do their lessons run?

I haven’t tried other curricula. We like the LUOA and have been using it since Kindergarten. You may qualify for a 10% discount, though. Are you military, a pastor, a first responder, etc.? Also, they have payment plans. As far as the lessons…they don’t usually run longer than 1.5 hours per subject, especially for the early elementary grades. We were finished by noon and we started the school day about 9:30 AM. I hope that helps a little, Jason. Good luck with your search and please let me know what you find out. 😀😀
