I alone have watched the rocket stove video over 10 times throughout the years. I always marveled at the simplicity of the design, needing only bricks, no grates or meshes like all the other versions I have seen. I may be slow, but I just finished making my own last month and had an immediate trial by fire and it works well and is standing by out by the garden.

I do remember after the 2008 crash wondering how people who had overextended their credit were making out in the USA. There were all kinds of documentaries, the Madoff scandal, all sorts of situations where people had lost all their assets due to the banking system in the USA. That is how I came across you. In the first video I watched, you were busy upgrading the window and insulation. I was very impressed that people in your (and my) age bracket, were pulling their socks up and moving forward in spite of it all. I felt the stress and pressure. You just put one foot in front of the other and moved ahead. That is what impressed me the most. Others would have, and did, give up. I don't know that I would have fared as well if I was put in the same situation.

I'm one of those that found the Rocket stove first. I still have it set up in the back yard. It has a back drop of cement blocks with branches for the birds to rest on stuck in them. That's our decorative firewood😊 and downstairs we have containers of toilet roll tubes filled with laundry fluff sitting on top of shredded paper. If the electric goes out for a few days we can still cook something. Love your channel, your content, and your family. Add thank you for introducing us to Thrive Life. Hello! It's interesting to learn about the monetary aspect of this medium. This past year, we have suffered some setbacks, dealing with health issues, loss of income (husband has lost job of 15 years, we are praying for him to find work soon). Two nights ago, we watched one of ur earlier videos, 'our story'. It was a. It was soo timely and encouraging! You have seen adversity and also the Father's hand at work. Elizabeth's stroke, losing Bill's mom to cancer, the loss of an occupation Elizabeth held dear, loss of properties during the crash of '08. Through it all, you kept forging ahead, and He was faithful. The unexpected money's acquired through the short sale and later the other check were just miraculous. You worked hard on the tiny! Amazing testimony of His faithfulness!❤

We were looking to move there too until my husband became ill. I still follow you and wish you the best. I just want to say my favorite videos to watch are the thrive life cooking channel. I love just watching the two of you spending time with you so to speak and also getting new cooking ideas and marketing ideas with thrive life. Once you hit 66 1/2, your income has no tax effect on Social Security. In fact, I (Bill) just hit 66 1/2, and JUST received my first SS check. 😊 (Before 66 1/2, your SS check will be reduced if you earn too much income.) Of course, we still have to pay tax on everything we earn, and we very carefully do our own withholding and make quarterly tax payments, just like any other self-employed person.

I’d love to see a video on roughly what’s possible to earn when promoting thrive life. I know you don’t want to reveal, current figures. It would be instructive to know approximately somewhere along the beginnings of the journey how having a KZbin channel helped increase your thrive life income. I think it would be incredibly motivating for those that are considering it. While it’s important not to choose something strictly for money, it’s also important to know how that could be emulated in one’s own life and possibly in the construction of their own channel, which is 80% around their interests, and 20% around introducing people to the benefits of thrive life and other products. I like to support the channels I subscribe to by letting the ads run. However sometimes the ads are so disgusting that I click off as quickly as I can or at the very least mute them. Or they’re like you said, just way too long. Some ads are longer than the creators content! Adsense need to work on a program where ads are more suited to the general demographic of viewers. Thanks for sharing honestly about this subject. Bless you heaps 🙂

You both are very good to answer questions and most of all not block people if they disagree with you. Other channels block people like crazy. I think that it is showing the love of God in your life and showing how a true Christian should behave when you don’t block people. It is the main reason I make sure to watch and support every video you put out. I love that you both show by example how a Christian should behave.

Correct, we do not block people just because they disagree with us. But we do block people for 3 reasons. (1) They are mean and nasty to us or to other commenters, (2) They are blatantly preaching something other than Christ, i.e. Islam or Hindu, and (3) Anything political. Not just liberal comments. We delete ALL political comments, Conservative and Liberal. We block all political comments because this is not a political channel, and any political comments can start a firestorm of angry comments below the original post. So we don't allow any political bickering.
