I'm looking forward to it! I don't mind carriers and I enjoy playing counter plane builds on cruisers and DD. I like feeling like a helpful escort to ships that lack in the AA department.

Enterprise going to be spreading a LOT of Democracy as her dive bombers are Helldivers. Also, imagine going into a game as a DD and having nothing but hybrid battleships on the enemy team as well as Enterprise. 😂

After carrier rework I had this thought it's not the game I began to love despite its flaws. I did not think of leaving the game but I don't want to go through yet another revolution in such a short time. I maybe will come back to the game at some point but it's a really good time to take a break from it.

​@xdshooter1 I mean I'm a bb main and heavy cruiser as well. I've played hybrids on pc before and I absolutely love them. People are just going to have to adapt to a new play style. It's kind of sad how people say that the game is getting stale and boring, then they do an update like this that brings something that people will have to change their playstyle against and the forst thing the community does is complain.

Actually, if I read and saw correctly the hybrid planes can team spot. So DD's factually don't have anywhere to run. Even if they did, the hybrids would just chase them down

There are much simpler more rational ways of dealing with op concealment then giving entire lines of battleships airplanes. That's a bazooka when you need a scalpel.

Before waxing poetic on the topic of the American government you'll want to do some more research. We are not a democracy, although some of our methods of representation are democratic. Democracy can be a terrible form of government (can be worse than communism) and basically any politician that talks about "our democracy" is not interested in the citizens best interest because they want you to think that we are a democracy. Ha ha typical they remove fighter and spotter plane ability to spot ships then create a type of battleship that can use planes to spot ships. Unless we get a mode with no airpower this will make the game much worse. First carrier mod then a t7 cruser with airstrike now this.....what they going to do make it like a carrier and your main guns can be in auto or like the airstike on new cruser?

If it is like pc hybrids you can't actually fire the guns while the planes are in the air. Personally I am hoping they just give it air strikes rather than full on controllable squadrons but that probably won't happen.

@gokuismymom8553 I agree seems easier. Although I am suprised it's the Americans getting these first as the Japanese where the only country who made full on battle carrier hybrids unless you count the british glow worm or the us Lexington when it had larger guns. Will see.

@Notthecobracommander Yeah also I know this isn't technically a hybrid battleship but I think with airstrikes added it would be cool if they added the 1943 variant of Mogami with the flight deck. It could be a fun ship to play.
