I've been wrestling with SF for what feels like an eternity, but you raise my morale every time I watch you. Keep up the good work, and thanks!

Glad I've been of help. Keep going. It will all click eventually. Just think of it as a glorified excel workbook :)

Hi Adam, thanks for the video! This is really insightful as someone who is currently trying to move into a Consultant/BA role. Hoping to one day become a solution Architect 👀

I currently getting my SF consultant certification, after I get it, what would be the next step?
@SalesforceAdam Жыл бұрын
Hi there, I guess once that's done, great, but then you'll need 'on the job' experience, so start applying for functional consultant roles either direct with a company (client-side) or apply for a role as a consultant as an established consultancy (such as Accenture, Deloitte, etc) so you can get more experience.

Hey Adam, thanks for the video. Could you make a video on how to go independent? How do you find the work etc. My biggest concern with that is deciding to off and start your own company and not know how to find any clients or work.

Excellent question. I would like to know the exact same thing. I had the idea to search for consultancy jobs (permanent) on LinkedIn and then promote myself as a freelancer for such similar position.

Hi Adam (great name), I’ll be doing a follow up on that soon as it is an option even for Administrators. Thanks for the suggestion.

@Adam - Which market has the highest Salary ? is it Netherlands or US ?
@SalesforceAdam2 жыл бұрын
To be honest - I have no idea, and I guess is relative based on the conversion rate and cost of living where you are. Personally, I would say it could be based on demand and availability (as with any market). If there is a lot of need for dev but not many about then that could push up salaries. The key might be language too. If a native speaker is needed or not (as if not, anyone in the world could do it with new remote working practises) . Total guess though. What do you think?

Hey Adam, I'm exploring get into the Salesforce ecosystem. Is the Salesforce Consultant the same as the Consulting Partner Program? I'm very new to the ecosystem and would love to hear your throughts
@SalesforceAdam Жыл бұрын
Hi there, no - Consultant Partner Program is where you are a business and become a partner to get a better promotion and work closer with salesforce on winning new business or growing it for them. . Doing the Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant certifications (or other clouds) are the basis for becoming a consultant (although not exclusively). My advice is usually to get experience at an end client role or better still, work for a consultancy so you're on multiple projects.

how do people make 220k pa doing salesforce freelancing?
@SalesforceAdam2 жыл бұрын
Hi there, it's all to do with the daily rate that can be achieved for that resource in the marketplace. The rates go higher (as do the salaries) when you niche down to a specific industry or feature, which can mean you're one of a few that can do what you do (or have the experience). Let me know if you have any more questions.
