Another thing to look for in painting is the back canvas, repairs and framing . Occasionally there will be patches and older pieces can be painted on a type of heavy stretched linen. I found a gorgeous oil painting and even the artists copies are very valuable. Paid $5. My mom worked oils for decades. I trust my gut. Whats the worst that can happen? So glad you got that painting. Id have snagged that piece in a heartbeat. I love that style.

I was an eBay reseller for many years and decided it was taking too much time to ship so many sizes and types of goods for a one man band. That inventory translated into larger space needs for shipping supplies & inventory and time to measure for listings. So I narrowed my scope of items to sell. This was a game changer as I became proficient in a narrowed search. I could store sooo much more inventory selling MOSTLY unbreakable lightweight items. It mostly all fits into a 5’. Wide Victorian bookcase plus a very small section of closet space. Items waiting to be listed go into a couple of clear totes. It pays to really analyze the efficiency of our operations from time to time! Time is money too. 😉
