HOW MUCH $$ I MADE MY FIRST MONTH ON ETSY & HOW MUCH DOES ETSY TAKE?

I just started my Etsy this month too. I sell embroidered children’s shirt. Planning to do mommy and me shirts and add HTV shirts for adults and children. I have many products in mind but it will be more around children and mommy. It’s difficult trying to figure out packaging and shipping and how much inventory to get and at the same time coming up with designs for me. Juggling everything at the same time. After this month I will focus more on getting my shop known as for now I haven’t gotten any sales but it’s okay I am at the stage like you say testing things out and figuring out how to do things. Thank you for showing that it’s possible. I’m not getting up hope yet because I haven’t done much advertising and letting people know so that’s what I will work on this upcoming month.

I’m also testing the waters and started mine last week Monday. I got a a few orders but shipping it’s the thing I struggle with as well. Trying to figure out where I can get free shipping merchandise instead of paying the insane prices for the usps box. Finally I found on their site you can order free shipping products so in the meantime I just went to Walmart and bought the small boxes and padded envelopes for pretty cheap. But man, after shipping supplies and Etsy fees I feel like I’m not really making much 😑.. hopefully this changes when I have a better influx of customers
