Great and insightful post. Enjoyed and learned a lot. About multitasking, scientists seem to agree that there is NO such thing. Some people are just better at switching back and for. But that decreases productivity. The people that study such things say, Be organized and stick to one task at the time. We will get more done. I guess that makes your style brilliant!

I really appreciate your breakdowns of how these things work. So many people don’t think to really take stock until they so emeshed in the system they can’t seem to explain or understand which bits of money come from which place anymore. It’s great to see that even porting an audience and getting that affiliate boost still only gets you so far, which helps make people understand a bit more how much harder it must be to start from the ground up. you are a natural teacher and investigator as well as being good fun to watch. Sorry you were plagued by people with very little to think about except being gross who made you and the other viewers uncomfortable. Moderators do unfortunately seem to be necessary.

Love your honesty and straightforward talk - I think people call that transparency these days, not sure. Anwhoo, just wanted to say that I can't even follow a live stream without getting stressed out - too many comments that don't relate and can't follow what the host is saying while trying to read the comments -- so all that to say that doing live stream seems to be stressful to the max. I thoroughly enjoy your though-through videos and I would not be able to follow you over to a live stream platform without giving myself a panic attack. A huge squeeze hug to fluff-ball Junior.

I see other YT presenters mixing voice over and direct delivery, with very little talking while doing. Not being good at doing several things at once is NOT a disorder, or even a disability. It is absolutely normal. Furthermore you are NOT ADHD. You have the ABILITY to focus on a task, and are smart enough to recognize and screen out distractions. BTW my family members and I are so attuned to music that none of us can work on something requiring focus with music playing. Often we have to stop what we are doing to listen. When we are listening to music we hate having chit-chat going on or the tv jabbering away. I love your quiet delivery while talking to the camera, and your calm narration during voice overs.

Evidently, most people DON'T perform well when they're "multi-tasking". Probably busy parents do it automatically, but many of us don't, especially at work. What you're really saying about yourself is that you prefer to focus - that sounds just as it should be. I would never give myself any sort of diagnosis at all based on anything that people say online. There just too many people who think that the existence of the internet gives them license to be malicious or anti-social while hiding behind the illusion of anonymity. And there are an awful lot people who know enough popular psychology to be dangerous. They label, indulge in armchair diagnosing and are comfortable in their anonymous criticism of others. As you've experienced, even people with actual degrees in counseling can be dangerous. Don't accept any negativity - you seem to be a decent human being, who tries to both entertain people, educate them and to share what you're learning. That works for me!

2:47 the 2 things at the same time thing. In my case it depends on the complexity of the 2 things. If they are simple things like watching a series on apple+ and having a KZbin video running (with subtitles so I can read them while I'm listening to the audio of the series), I can do them. If I'm doing some complicated java programming I can't have a series running in the background, it distracts me from analyzing. In your case you're saying you can't multitask even for simple things, so my point is there seem to be different levels of condition.^^
