Great deal!! I bought my 07 back in 2019 for $41,900. It only had 4200 miles. The heads were done also with long tube headers, cold air intake upgraded zr1 clutch. Has about 28k miles on it now. I did add a Corsa Extreme exhaust super loud but I absolutely love it!! Oh yeah custom grind cam was done as well.

It get ripped for the interior but I have absolutely no issues. I think the interior is fine! Instead of changing out the old screen. I’m keeping it and just using a Bluetooth transmitter for my music. Works awesome and sounds great! Such an awesome car!

I got my 06 for 36k in 2022 and my interest came out to 8% so my cost is similar to yours. i think mine was originally 41 or something but it is one owner and 27k miles. I ended up just paying it off early to get it out the way lol. Prices are going down for a lot of enthusiast cars which is good, planning on getting an Evo 9 when I get the chance. The car is actually at AHP right now getting the work done for the heads and valves that cost around 8k and gonna be 580-600hp.

This is very informative, especially for those of us who are living in the USA from overseas. In the UK you really only need to prove that you have the income to repay the loan, banks typically don’t care hold old the vehicle is so when I relocated to the USA several years ago years ago it was quite a challenge getting financing even with well over 800+ credit score. Love you honesty and frankness, not to mention the Z06 of course 😊

Nice Car. You got a good deal, love it...but Gap is not necessary on a car that has basically completely depreciated. Gap is for new vehicles that depreciate 20% -30% in the first two years. This 17 yr old Z06 will most likely slowly appreciate as long as you don't go over the top with modifications.

I bought my 2012 C6 (Base) Corvette Carlise Blue with a manual transmission with only 8,500 miles on it in CA for 35k in 2023. I got a 6.3% interest rate on it through Driveway financial and I pay just under 700 per month on it. I considered getting an 06-08ish Z06 for a while but with the valve issues that are common on the LS7 and the relatively sorted out LS3 on the 2012 Corvette I decided on the base model because it was extremely low miles in showroom condition and pretty much bullet proof reliability (compared to the Z06).

I'm confused...you financed $28.5k, but added gap insurance. That was added to your financing? If so, that's $33k being financed. If the car was priced at $33.5 and you paid $5k down, you are indeed at $28.5k. But, the gap insurance would add another $5.5k. Putting you at financing $34k. Presuming that includes tax, title and license...If so, that's as you mentioned, $723 per month. Which comes out to paying $9,340 in interest over 60 months. Which is $43,340 total. Plus, your $5k down payment. That totals you out to $48,340 when the car is paid off.
@HPentertainments6 ай бұрын
$33,500 minus my 5k down brought me down to $28,500 sticker. Then they added taxes and tags etc… along with gap. After all that the grand total which i cant remember off the top of my head right now is what i ended up financing. Yes if i just wait the full term to pay off the car its gonna be pricey but i plan to pay it off before anyways to save on interest.
