I just started envelope stuffing two paychecks ago (mid December) and already have $553 saved! My goal is to have at least 6,000 saved in order to move out of my parent's home and be able to furnish it by summer. Taxes and refunds from school will go to the majority of it, but I am still so excited!

Put the money towards which ever fund you are trying to fund the quickest. House fund, 1 month ahead, 3-6 month expenses, or use it for personal use like a vacation. Or your daughters dance/activity fund

Don't panic, start out easy, don't buy things you don't need, budget every money, always save a portion of your pay atleast 5%, Invest from your pay check; it grows and helps you accumulate wealth easily.

I can’t either. I’ve watched videos and they state it's a placeholder, and I’m like the bank would have called me out lol. It looks to me like real money. I order some from an Etsy owner(cannot remember the name) but she places pictures on hers, so you actually know it's fake. It’s downloadable and I will laminate them this weekend. They have several different ones, even clear placeholders with numbers.

you can use ancestor money! same size as an actual dollar but heavily decorated for you to know that it’s fake. plus you can write little messages on them to remind you of your intentions for that set of savings. i just put them in my money saving envelopes and it’s kinda cute

Put it towards home savings. I still have your savings challenges book from last year with a lot not done yet. But the ones that are specific to 2022 I'm actually using for 2023 and adding an extra $1 towards it. So the 2022 is your year one I'm doing when I color off a 22 space I actually am putting $23 in the savings envelope.

What I like to do with my coins, I separate them: penny jar, nickels and dimes jar, and a quarter jar. Unfortunately my quarter jar gets used for laundry since our building has a coin machines.

My bank has a free coin dump machine where it gets deposited straight into your account. You might want to look into that and save yourself a bunch of time. You can always pull the cash out of your account if you are doing envelope stuffing.

I started my journey and even made a KZbin channel on it (only have 1 video on it lol) and since then it’s completely gone downhill. Lost my car on my birthday and had to take all of my money out of my envelopes and savings to go towards what I need. Now I’m struggling to get back into stuffing 😭 has anyone else ever suffered with falling out in this? Also Taylor, I love your videos so much. Yep I had stuffed from January through May last year and had done really well. Then unfortunately my mother passed away and I ended up unstuffing almost everything to pay for several things that came up. I just started stuffing again in December. Don’t worry about having to use that money, that’s what it’s there for. When you’re ready you can start over! I hope we both have a better year in 2023!

I have gained so much knowledgeable information from everyone's video on budgets and savings. This will be my year to bank a lot of money. Last yr Amazon received 31 transactions from me. That's crazy, I need to be on their payroll, not them on mine. My goal is to spend less, I know I spend and waste money. My husband and I do have great savings, as well as our four yr old daughter, due to selling our home we built in FL 2020 and sold in May to psc to Japan. These challenges will add to those numbers, etc. Question: How do you handle family or friends that watch your channel, and ask to borrow money? If this is an issue you may or may not have had to deal with. Congrats on your savings and spend the 1 dollar bill challenge money on a small money goal, you were completing. I’ll be putting a Gucci belt on my wishlist, I’ve been wanting one forever. I purchased my last LV product a week ago, a pm agenda, and saved almost 100 dollars, due to the yen rate in Japan. Luxury is very affordable here in Japan.

Hey Miss Taylor Happy New Year oh you can take them to your bank if they have a coin counter and they could dispose of it and you can put in your account or some Publix has coin counters that they own free of charge and you can cash them out there

In the US if you use a Coinstar machine to process your coins, there’s no charge IF you get certain Clift cards or make certain donations. So if you shop at Amazon, Lowes, Starbucks, etc., regularly, you can move your coin money to that merchant envelope, and the money from the merchant envelope to savings. You don’t have to wrap the coins or (at some banks) pay a service charge to turn in coins.
