12:12 Hello dear Yemisi. That's an artichoke! Also called in my languages "alcachofa" in spanish, "carxofa" in catalan. That's a very popular vegetable in the Mediterranean zone, where I live. It has surprised me a lot that you've seen it the first time, our culinary cultures are very different as the climates we live in. In fact, one of the things I like the most of your channel is that you use a looooot of ingredients that I've never seen in my life. Artichokes are actually flowers, and for eating it you have to peel out all that green and though petals, what is eaten is the tender core of the flower. In my house we first boil it and later battered and fried. Is one of my favourite vegetables and also very healthy, very depurative. Yes artichokes are delicious I’m from Lebanon they’re served here as an appetiser and we enjoy them in the room temperature after they’re boiled and soaked in a lemon and garlic mixture for a couple of hours. YUM YUM

The veg u picked up is an artichoke. The folds/folds can be plucked and eaten boiled, steamed, teeth scrapped, and the core or heart is also edible always cut the tip of the individual folds b4 cooking. Cook whole with spice and butter! Salt and black pepper to taste. Yummy!

Omg 😩😩 Tiara is soooo sweet. I’m in my mid forties and with just 1 son. Daughter mother moments like these make me rethink my decision of not trying for a girl but I’m done sha. My ovaries😂😂😂 gang! The green cone like vegetable you were holding is called artichoke I love them on my pizza with jalapeño and black olives The round thing you bought are called papad they are eaten commonly in India they are made out of lentils called urad we would eat them with rice and curry while growing up in Mumbai India.
