There are some great tips in this video. I used to have trouble waking up in the morning but ever since I set my 3 aputure 120d's to bounce off the ceiling I haven't had any trouble!

I've got 2 Aputure HR672C LED panels for work. The color temp can be adjusted which is perfect for my situation. I film industrial laser machinery indoors and most of the overhead lighting is different in different parts of the facility. It also has a wireless remote which is the most beneficial thing ever. Speeds up a shoot. I shoot on the EOS-R. Awesome camera. Got it because the competition in its price range lacks a swivel screen.

Yo. That fall-off distance example with your studio set-up was great. Can totally see that curve and how it relates to you vs. your background. That was really helpful.

'Love your channel; and this is another good discussion of the 300D. I wish I could remember the name of a book on cinematic lighting that I read in the early 1980's. Anyway, one of the directors of photography, mentioned in that book, said that he preferred using lights that needed to be diffused using 3/4-inch plywood. His point was that, with more powerful lights, a cinematographer has more ways to shape the light to whatever is required. You did a great job in showing the many ways a light with more power can be used for good effect. Thanks so much!

Thanks for your informative video! You really have a "gift for gab", never at a loss for words. You have an endearing, humorous quality. Even though it seems like you're not serious, it appears to be that it's just the way you talk. You really have a lot of knowledge and experience and it's great you're so willing to share it. Thanks!!

Most household circuits in the US/Canada are 15A, so you're often safe plugging 1,200, maybe 1,400 watts of load into that circuit assuming nothing else is on that circuit. (15 Amps times 115 volts equals 1,725 watts minus some safety factor.) If you check the breaker panel, find a 20A circuit, trace to which receptacles are on that circuit and confirm that there is nothing else running on that circuit, then you could safe-ish-ly run about 2,000 watts of load on that circuit.

LOVING THE LIGHTING VIEWS BRO. I'm taking a risk by starting out with just diffusers and color backgrounds. I mainly use natural lighting in my videos so I want to work with no artificial lights first then i can start on my lighting needs once I need to add some gear.
