I am just curious what your thought is of Social Workers transitioning to Project management? Do you have any resources on that? I noticed that project management is very similar to some social work professions when it comes to transitional skills. Have you ever worked with anybody that made that transition?

In Canada. My company didn't value having a PMP. Others without PMP are being paid the same ad me. My manager does not have PMP and many in our PMO. Lol. Def depends on the company.

That was my general finding as well...though I think when job hopping having the certification has been helpful in demonstrating my capabilities. Have you found that the Canadian PM market in general doesn't like the PMP?

UK, Australia and most European countries gravitate more on, or prefer, Prince2.
