I've seen many succesful people stating that they've reached their goals just through hard work, but I'm a firm believer that luck plays a part. Luck is an important factor. Some are more luckier than others. Hence, why some of the success cannot be replicated easily. I am quite lucky myself, highly depend what I am doing. I do think luck factor can be polished if you know how to do it.

How fantastic Ali, I'm a new subscriber and find the openess and sharing about money, regardless of how much, is an incredibly aligning activity - to internal integrity. 'I feel good that I worked hard enough to acheive that payment, I feel it is deserved, and I have no fear sharing to anyone if it is earned in fairness and honesty - I have also worked on my own business for many long years, 17-20 hour days at times, and when someone challenges me on a payment I'm happy to visit it and happy to find a win-win for such a payment - and if not then perhaps I shouldn't be doing a service if it is not seen as a 'win'. This year you were my inspiration to get my ass off and start creating more content. I would like to thank you for the formula [Number of subscribers]*[20%]*[20-30Cpm]. I always had a hard time negotiating the prices of sponsorship. The problem with affiliate & stuff, It only works if your content is English and targeting a larger audience. Sadly, it's not the case for my local audience even if I produce twice a week. I don't expect to make a living from KZbin now, but if I want to see my channel grow and deliver more quality content; I should start either hiring people or invest in new (expensive) gear ... so it's like a snake eating himself :p Anyway, good luck for the next year.
