I just enquired with futurpreneur since I'm in Canada too! I'm so happy that if you got it without grocery experience (correct me if I'm wrong) than I should be able to get the funding given my years of retail management experience and now more professional experience as a real estate agent. I'm so excited for this I have a great location and plan to implement and drive sales.

Awesome to hear man! You should have a good chance with your experience! I did have about 8 years of supervisor grocery experience before opening mine which they do often like to see for any business loan. If you'd like you can mention I recommended you. You will probably have to tell them who I am as Im sure they forgot, but hey it may help.

@@lifeasiknowit89 Thank you, I will do that! In my produce management role the program we did really well with is in store made cut fruit, veggies and salads. I think I'll have that as a big part of my business (plus juicing) and also offer those as deliverable items through delivery apps as another revenue source. It'll help with perishable rotation and I'll make sure to brand the packaging and maybe include coupons to get people back to the physical store. There's a prime location for this in my city in a high income neighborhood with some new home development including this particular shopping centre being updated and expanded allowing for me to potentially get in. The location has huge visibility with the back facing a main road and unit is about 1,100+ sqf with neighbors being high end businesses like pet spa and high end people spa. I'm working on my business plan now and I'm super pumped! Best of luck to you and thanks for all the videos! They're very, very helpful!

So needed this video I'm so scared to open mines even though I know I would do well and can you do a video on where you get your products from please
@lifeasiknowit893 жыл бұрын
Hey Janet. I wish you the best of luck. We could do a video on where we get our products but it may only be helpful to the people in our area as many distributors very from Province to Province or Country to Country.

I have 160 thousand. What business can I invest in?
@lifeasiknowit8924 күн бұрын
Well that is a decent amount to start a variety of different things. Really I would say find something you are personal good at and don't spend it all haha. Do your research fast and spend slowly. It's hard to pinpoint what is best for you as the options are vast. If you can invest half in something safe and the other in a business you are passionate about that is the first step I'd take.

@lifeasiknowit89 Thanks for your reply, my friend. I was thinking of a mini supermarket/a barber shop/ a beauty salon/a gym or opening a supply chain.
@ivoryreviewsstuff16 күн бұрын
There are a ton of options. What type of business do you want to own? And then does that align with how you like your day to day to operate? I am a business broker and I can tell you that supermarkets have low profit margins. It doesn't mean they are not profitable but you will want to have a differentiator otherwise people won't come repeatedly and that's where the money is. If you are in the states hit me up!
