My game changer when living in condo was getting a chest freezer which allowed me to meal prep like crazy and make enough in bulk to bring down costs.

Love hearing about the success of new recipes! Cooking at home is so rewarding and I find that when I get into the routine of it and see that I have odds and ends ingredients I end up getting even more creative with food concoctions. Congratulations for sticking to your 0$ Ubereats goal as well! It’s so simple to fall off the wagon when living dtown tdot!

Super random but Can you do a video on whether Costco is worth it for a couple? Everyone we know encourages us to get a Costco card but since it’s just my partner and I - I feel like we wont use it as much as others do (because they’re a family of 4/5). I also keep thinking that if I get a Costco card, I’ll be spending unnecessarily. A video on it would be helpful 😊

I don't have UberEats, but I would spend an amount equivalent to yours dining out per month and wondered where all my salary increases went. I spent the first half of the year cutting it in half...let's say the total has been trending down. Hoping this month will be the one where I meet the number goal.

Grocery shopping with a specific recipe in mind can be pricey. A better idea is to look for sales and then decide on recipes later. You can use free apps or AI to enter the ingredients you have and find a recipe that way

Is this grocery amount for the two of you, or is the total amount actually double? Either way, great work with doing so much cooking at home! Don't forget groceries have really gone up in price, so the budget you made yourself would have worked a year ago, but now those numbers are out of date.

Do you guys ever have issues explaining your budget to your friends and family? Especially if you’re not able to do certain things because you want to stay within your budget? Basically, what are your thoughts about loud budgeting?
@stephandden5 ай бұрын
Good question - we're so vocal about our budget and money because of what we do (ie. posting about it online!), so luckily we don't really have issues explaining our budget anymore. For the most part, we've found that our friends are great at communicating costs with us in advance, because they know we like to budget. We typically won't say no, we'll just fit it into our spending plan for the month 😊
