How much money do you really need to be happy in life?

Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

Starting early is simply the best way of getting ahead to build wealth , investing remains a priority . I learnt from my last year's experience , I am able to build a suitable life because I invested early ahead this time .
@hunter-bourke212 ай бұрын
In fact, I had no prior experience or understanding when I began investing in 2018, but by the end of 2019, I had made a profit of almost $750k. All I had been doing was going by what my financial advisor had told me. This demonstrates that all you truly need is a professional to assist you; you don't even need to be a great investor or put in a lot of work.

With a business you can make other people work 9-5 minimum for their entire life whilst you only do a weekly or monthly check on the business and focus on literally anything else (assuming you have the proper SOP in place which is easy to do if you have the skillsets and ability to take the business to said level.)

Other than these assets, there will be 2 things where your money will be spent. One is if you organize parties and functions and second is travelling expenses. There is a third one also but that depends on you. If you get a major health issue and you need big amount of money. But that you can prevent by doing yoga daily, eating healthy diet and so on. It depends on where one lives. Because expenses are directly linked with location. Aspirations also drastically change in tandem. Today's day and age, kids think 5L to be the magic number. Having said that, I personally feel that one is way happier with 2L than with 5L. Many may disagree, but I say this from personal experience 🙏

I think the answer to this question has so many factors, that it is practically impossible to actually answer. For example, if you work in the same place you have already have a home in, you'll be saving a lot of money on rent. If you live in a less expensive place, you will save a lot of money. For someone from a place like say, Ahmedabad, if that person works in Ahmedabad, that person will be saving more money earning about 1L per month, compared to a person working in Bengaluru earning 1.5L per month, living on rent. So, I believe a one-size-fits-all figure is just not feasible

If this scientific presumption being true to some extent then we can assume our 90%population in India is far away from the happiness index...this is absolutely a frightening truth (if so)...

hi Chetan, an apt and relevant video for a question on most people mind. while 1.5l-2l will take of needs for most people across india, it doesnt solve the issue of key financial requirements such as kids education and retirement esp if you want to send kids outside India for studies. Please share your thoughts on this area as well.

I think really the secret lies in living below your means , while having strong investments in place . If one can do that I think money wise they’d be quite peaceful regardless of the income .

Inflation needs to be addressed too as the limit might change as years pass by due to that. Like 1L + 3% or whatever if you are watching the video in 2023..

Yes, I don't make 1.5 lakh per month as I live in Delhi. I understand it's difficult to live with less than 1.5 lakh in Delhi. Money adds up to your happiness . True

From one perspective its right.. but we should not take it too seriously too.. when I took the financial goal too seriously I lost my personal time, health and my realtionships suffered. So, first cutting down the cost to bare minimum brings about the base and after then we can strive to our goal.
