How much power does a Unitronic Stage 2 - 93 Audi RS6 Avant make?!?

Racing Greed was kind enough to reach out to me when they were tuning their Audi RS6 Avant from a Unitronic Stage 1+ tune to a Stage 2 tune. We made sure to re-test the amount of power the car made on the Stage 1+ tune first so we could accurately say how much more power they were able to make on the Stage 2 tune. Love the channel, followed it back in 19 with my rs3, did all the same mods. Picked up a used rs6, an hour later was unitronics stage 1+ (friday) Thinking of moving up to stage 2 or 3, but haven't found many 1/4 mile runs. Did this car ever get back to the track or similar cars you've played with? For an extra $9k (or $19k) depending on stages, would like to see the differences at the track.

This particular shop car is now Stage 3. It did race at a Stage 2 level, but I can't remember if I have footage of it or not. If I do, I could possibly put together a #short. We're trying to get together for a Stage 3 dyno test though.

So I have been opting for ethanol free fuel thinking it would gain HP. I know how forced induction loves the cooling effect of ethanol. On stock RS6, you recommend E10 over ethanol free?

Still stock on my 23 RS6 since I may trade in quick to get the 24 RS6 Performance. Would you? Argument would be bigger turbos stock and better center differential.

Vancity, why is the power down from whats on Unitronic website for a STG2. (819hp) I believe the only the difference was your redstar cats vs Uni cats.

It isn't down on power. Unitronic quotes the power at the crank. This dyno tests power at the wheels, meaning you have to consider the drivetrain loss as well.

I think you mean kind of impressed by these numbers. Unitronic advertises their horsepower claims at the crank. These dyno results are at the wheels, meaning you need to add at least 10% more to those dyno numbers to know what it makes at the crank. Meaning the Stage 1+ numbers were roughly 776hp.

Dyno Jet number, so take about 15% off to start getting remotely accurate. Never trust a company (RG) that calibrates their Mustang dyno to read Dyno Jet numbers.

🤣🤣🤣 I've tested every one of my cars on this dyno using both their Dynojet calibration as well as their Mustang calibration. I've compared the numbers with cars with the exact same setups as mine in extremely similar environmental conditions on multuple Dynojet dynos in the states and have been less than 5whp & 5wtq different. Nice try, lol
