I LOVE THAT HE CALLS IT "ARKAN-SAUCE!" (cuz Murica is the dumbest place on earth) (EX: we have FIFTY cities named "Salem" --- what could go wrong?) (There's only ONE Tokyo in Japan and Paris in France! TWO would be INSANE!) ..... ....cuz it's either "ARKAN-SIS" (ala Kansas).....(plus that's a band Kiko knows!).....OR it's "KANSAW" (aka Ar-Kansas, aka ark-an-saw"!!)
@christopherxanadude2442 жыл бұрын
I want MORE MORE MORE of the jams!! We were hoping the new Megadeth was going to PUSH METAL FORWARD.......since Kiko and Dirk were both super-musicians.....(you could've gone MORE jazz metal!!) .........(or ART metal) ("Master Of Puppets" is the GOAT.....BECAUSE it was so EXPERIMENTAL and broke so many rules!!)............but it could be 30 year old thrash. We are HUNGRY FOR THE NEXT PHASE OF METAL......not the past. SABBATH WITH DIO.....was fucking AMAZING.....and was VERY DIFFERENT than Sabbath with OZZY (also amazing)!!! GET IT?? IF ANYONE IS GOING TO PUNCH THE WORLD IN THE FACE with INNOVATIVE metal, it should be this iteration of Megadeth!!! HOW ABOUT YOU GUYS GIVE US ONE SONG that's ART-METAL that pushes metal FORWARD! Kiko was doing some INCREDIBLE art-metal shit in this video, solo! ONE TUNE OF THAT! ! Or the trio (without Dave) could EASILY work up ONE killer jam, 20 minutes long, that is nOT MDeth.......and post that so we can enjoy them GETTING WILD AND CRAZY! Megadeth is TOO RIGID. Let's see these cats go MAHAVISHNU LEVEL!

ME TOO! When they have downtime, they could easily whip up some killer jams / improvs / instrumentals and give us 20 minute jams as videos here! No hassles! Kiko is doing some REVOLUTIONARY guitar bits here! I WANT ART-METAL! I was very disappointed in the new MDeth. I was expecting it to be a BIT more cutting edge and dangerous. Less retro. I want these guys to push metal (and rock) FORWARD!

Just a matter of time we start seeing interviews from successful musicians who List you as inspiration. Interview with Rick Beato was great! The way he explains and goes into music as a producer and teacher is similar to how you go into and explain it from a successful touring Musicians perspective. Much Appreciated!

@@ItsRyan265 cool I wasn’t aware. I get excited whenever I see a technique that I have never seen before or see something I’ve heard but would’ve never guessed how the player made the noise . Dime’s artificial echo, I think he called it a fake echo in the solo in Walk blew my mind the first time I saw him do it and I ain’t seen anyone do it as smooth as he did.

Lots of practice is a good thing and long as you are not straining. What can be dangerous is lots of noodling after the practice. When you are warmed up and your hands are able to do whatever the brain is telling them to do. Being in the zone in other words. That place is addictive. Its fun and I for one do not want to stop. I keep playing sometimes for hours past the point my hands began aching. The next day my 52 year old hands are aching and locked up so bad that even injecting WD40 into the seized up joints would not get them working. It might take a few days for them to recover. Not good, but it is hard not to do that, because it's fun getting in the zone like that.

Great video. When I read the title I was reminded of a Michael Schenker interview I read many years ago on the subject of practice. He said he never practices; for instance, repeating scales over and over again. He said he gets his chops in trying to write new songs, melodies, solos, etc. To a degree it looks like you do the same.

I find it funny when people ask artists if theyve always been gifted. The answer should be, if you play or practice 8 -10 hrs a day, are you gifted or just working really hard? That was from a question at a master class to Pat Metheney. I think most like you, put in the work. Which was his answer as well.
