Yes, I track projects and classes in QuickBooks. That's $4 per transaction

When you say transactions per month, are you counting every single transaction on their credit card statements + bank accounts? For example, personally my bank statement will have a much smaller number of transactions than my credit card statements. Hopefully that makes sense and thanks for your help.

Have them set you up an access account and find where everything is and how to use it. Test it few days if you feel comfortable then proceed if not say you don't feel comfortable moving forward under these circumstances

I use a system to get paid with all my businesses. I have all customer give a card to be on file. Mths later they stop paying I just bill the card automatically. They usually call asking Abt it but if they are honest they understand and we move on, but if dishonest then they go ballistic. But terms of service has the right print

😀People are only going to hire a bookkeeper if they have extenisve experience a Resume to show them so they will hire you, nobody will hire someone with little to no experience. Ever. They will probably ask you who your current clients are before they even give you their business. Don't forget to mention you are a 1099 and you must put aside money to pay your taxes. most clients want you to go to their office to do the work sometimes. Most companies want to hire a CPA so they don't have to have a bookkeeper and an outside CPA to do their taxes.

24 years ago I started a tax prep side hustle charged 19 bucks for a simple file. Made more money doing that than about anything else till Abt 6 years ago.
