The music industry is constantly coming up with ways to take money from artists. It’s good for artists to be aware of the fact that these music platforms have gatekeepers that decide who gets on the playlists, and in my opinion this is a flawed system that will become outdated in the future.

I got paid $9 USD for 600 plays on youtube music and got paid 12 cents for just over a hundred plays on youtube.. youtube music pays way more then spotify.. spotify pays nothing.. they have been a failing business since day one.. but some how they are still in business.. look at there share price it's been going down since inception

Well OK I clicked on the spotify and sure enough there is a million streams on a song called rainy day. But somehow there has got to be promotion otherwise the internet is dead.
