I'm running AXS on both my bikes now. Once I got used to it there is no down side, shifts so fast and smooth. full power ebikes for the win!

Manual shifter all the way! Recently had a go of electric vs manual back to back and was able to be more mechanically sympathetic on the manual to obtain a smoother shift 👌🏼

Well, on my E-MTB Bulls Custom E-Core I have a Fox 36 150 front and a rear X2 with 140 travel, on my Custom Giant Reign I have a Rock Shox Pike with 170 mm and a rear Super deluxe with 150 and now I’m rebuilding a hardtail Grand Canyon for casual rides with just 120 mm AION Suntour fork. Love your show 👌

My Amish bike is a 100mm travel XC Intense, its light and even works as a gravel bike. The e bike is a whole nuther deal, Canyon Spectral ON CF8 full power bike. I dont go to bike parks , the 155/150 travel seems to be plenty. Sucks up rocks really well.

First gen Levo is something like 135/140. Put a new 160 up front and it rides amazing. Nothing goofy about the travel variation. Definitely from the school of thought that more travel is better!

I am currently electronic, but I am tempted to go back to manual. It's got to the point of charging too many batteries with SRAM. Now, if I had a bike with Shimano Di2 XT 12-speed that is powered from the main battery and a dropper that was also powered from the main battery (come on Shimano!) then that would be a game changer. One plug to recharge it all...

Great video as usual! Does it follow that if you are used to riding 120 mm on a analog Specialized Camber Carbon Expert that a SL or full power bike is gonna need more travel to give a comparable ride just to compensate for the extra 10-20 lbs of bike weight on the EMTB?

I feel if you have an eBike go with all the suspension. I have a 180mm / 170mm Kenevo SL, and I'm waiting on a long travel kit from Cascade Components to bump my Levo to 170mm front and rear. Also AXS shifting all the way lol.
