I have just bought a Levo Carbon Base for £5625.00 in the UK, at Leisure Lake's it comes with a 500wh and a 700wh battery. I have upgraded the fork, shock, wheels and brakes XTs of course, so it didn't stay base.... I now have shed full of bits to get rid of, but I think it is good value and not nearly as expensive as your dream build.

From what I've read the motor would influence a lot. Any bike with the EP8 puts me off. Not ridden an emtb yet

@@SamsBikes I’m definitely interested, what is the cost? I’m from the Rocky Mountains in Canada, but live in Sydney and quite an avid rider, however, currently not an e-bike. I’ve really got it narrowed down, (thanks in huge part to your content / site which I have been recommending to everyone I know 😂), but struggling making the final decision.

I have approximately 12,000 saved at this point and was looking at the Scor, but seems too hard to get in Australia. The way this industry changes so quickly, do you think it’s best that I reach out closer to when I’m actually ready to buy?

Great video Sam, I researched for months and landed on the turbo Levo comp alloy too. No regrets mate, I’ve just turned 50 and this bike suits me perfectly, it’s really helping me regain fitness again. Took your advice and bought a new full face helmet also 👍 (can get a bit loose at O’Halloran Hill bike park) Still running on the stock tyres though, do you recommend I change them?

I myself just bought a full face helmet. I just turned 54 and my wife says it’s best if you crash not to destroy your face. Lol.

Hey Sam, I need a hand choossing my first Emtb. I’m riding a muscular Giant Reign 1, a truly beast downhill, but a bit heavy on the way up. I intend to keep it for the bike parks. For the same money, around €4.8k same year 2022, would you go with: 1- Trance x 1 alloy 720wh, 2- trance x2 carb 625wh 3- Turbo levo comp alloy 700wh (but used)? Thank you in advance! 🤙🏻

Sam I live in America and am looking at buying my first Ebike. I am an intermediate-expert level (black diamond favorite) rider who has been riding for 10 years and racing both XC And Enduro for last 4 years. I finally got to try an ebike in the Turbo Kenevo SL and loved the experience. I also coach a youth MTB NICA club for recreational riders and XC racers. I love Enduro tech terrain and drops. I live in the AZ desert. Unfortunately I weigh 286 lbs at 6 feet tall. What bike would you or your viewers recommend?

I didn’t mention bosch because we weee buying a ebike in the moment, this was what was available and Mike wanted a bike straight away! Anyway I do my best to keep everyone happy if you would rather not watch my channel I’m fine with that!

This is pretty unrealistic for a " first bike". How about a hard tail? i'm a big advocate of learning on an unforgiving hard tail and then getting a full suspension . If you learn on a hard tail you will remember , in your mind and body what to avoid and developed better handling skills . once you've mastered the hard tail then move up to a full suspension . Plus you will save a lot of money on your "first bike" . it's simply not necessary to spend that much in order to get a good quality bike .
