you forgot to mention that the nationality of the teacher plays a BIG role in how much they are going to get paid. I know many excellent and experienced teachers who have left teaching in some of the best schools in Dubai because the schools were not really fairly compensating them due to the passports they hold. One school even segregates the "white teachers" from other non-white teachers in their housing accommodation because the whites are "supposedly considered premium" teachers and are provided the apartments in premium locations ... the non whites get accommodations that are far out from the city center .... however, this is typical practice in Dubai in general ...

I know people who earn double than the highest salaries in Dubai without any experience, teaching English in kindergartens in China. Not everyone’s ideal country to live, but for 2-3 times the salary, seems a lot better than Dubai. Dubai also isn’t the cheapest or most interesting place to live.

Nobody’s earning £15k a month in Chinese kindergartens lol. It maxes out at around 40k RMB a month for kindergartens which is £4.15k a month

Salaries in the UAE have gone down to unlivable amount in the last 2 years. It makes no sense anyone is still willing to teach there.

Which teaching Certificate do they look for generally .I am tied between doing the Hibernia 2 year program or the PGDE in Glasgow for one year or possibly Moreland online.Any advice would be greatly appreciated:)...great video btw!

Teachers are paid extremely well here in Ontario Canada. They receive a generous pension when they retire & the average salary is less than 2 years C$38,781 more than 2 years C$74,616 more than 5 years C$113,875 plus they receive 3 Months holidays. Currently it is Contract Negotiation time They say that the average pay for teachers is $39,000 & that is too low. They are misleading the public. That is amount a brand new teacher makes in the 1st 2 years.

No, you can have a lot of degrees but if you don't have a PGCE or ITT, Initial Teacher Training, you can't teach at all
