I like this approach. Im a person who tends to overthink literally everything out of anxiety of doing things wrong due to situations from my early years of life and so on, so I definitely felt that "onto the next" thingie. Humans evolved so much, but in all this time, it's as if our mental capability took a huge blow due to "everything." I'm also meditating frequently, and I've always looked for ways I can do it the utmost best, and everyone said something different until I met a guy who said that wanting to meditate and to find peace in it is the wrong approach. He said when you meditate, just try to meet with reality-not trying to kill our thoughts and minds and whatnot but just facing the present reality. So your approach to meditating fascinated me, as its obviously also very different from what is being said and spread on the internet. Its also fascinating how different we all are; some are able to think so deeply, and others are so caught up in their bubble that they can't see anything outside of it. The more I see videos like these getting uploaded, the more hope and faith I get in humans, as we are all on our own but still a collective species that should support each other. Thanks for the video. I always enjoy getting a glimpse of other likeminded, aware people and getting to hear their opinions and look at their thought patterns. It's refreshing. Thank You Jena! ❤ While I feel you are correct about the overwhelming and confusing nature of the self-improvement/development movement, especially on YT and other social media outlets...(as well as the daily demands of our lives) I think its most helpful to remember that "its all" just a flowing river of experience. I see us all as individual standing waves, ever present in a recognizable yet ever-changing form, which is in truth emanating from an unknown disturbance/object lying deep beneath the surface. I believe your thoughts about not having to "do" anything are on point...as the point of here and now "IS the point." All meditation, religious wisdom, science and all experience coalesces within the moment, which perpetually hovers between what we recognize as a moment just passed, and/or the next step poised to happen. ✌

Your right. Attention is our currency.im just not sure what action to take. I get it though, I've known this since before I started but being alone with my own thoughts brings me so far down so it's the only thing holding me up ATM. I've always been a negative person so I hop from video to video not to learn anything or get answers but to get support in the form of a positive outlook. Otherwise it's just overbearingly dark and I get buried. I wish I knew how to change but I've been trying to do that my whole life. It's almost like I'm borrowing other people's desires because all I've ever wanted is out. I'm doing the best I can until I can do better without heading into another repetitive pattern. But your right, if there's a better way I'm either not seeing it or just not able yet. Thank you. I hope this helps someone.
