Firas answered brilliantly answered the question of “rough rollers”. The guy always wants to win and I get it like who doesn’t want to win but I’m more in flow roll and learn and learn I don’t care about winning unless it’s a competition and even then I still want to learn. Does that have to do with ethics of the academy?

Salam, can I get more details on why you dont like long distance running vs. Sprinting? For wrestling
@fightcampro1358
@fightcampro1358 5 жыл бұрын
Hope I’m not wrong but you need to bring the most appropriate specifications during training, therefore sprints variations would bring more benefits intensity wise for a combat sport. Not only sprints, but circuit training methods. Training at 85-90 even 95% HR reproduces the similarities of a combat effort. Sure, you can still use LSD 65-75% HR (long slow distance) running in unloading or recovery periods..

Specific training bro Example: you want to build good bjj cardio? You need to roll a lot (if fight lasts 5 min etc. you do it 10), also include high tempo low tempo where you give it all for like 30 sec and than roll light for 1min, than you periodise your training so you have shorter light intervals the closer you are to competition. Hope it makes sense :P

Hi, I have a boy who is very passionate about contact sports (wrestling, muay thai, boxing, MMA) He is 7 years old. I wanted to ask you to tell me what would be the best way to develop his motor skills and to become a complete fighter (if he likes it and further) what would be the order of sports he should follow to develop completely. What should we fill the window of opportunity with between 7 and 10 years old? Thank you!

What motor skills or other things could they better develop now, between 6 and 10 years old, to become a good fighter (which would be harder to develop after that age)? What exactly should we focus on to get the best out of those 3-4 years? Specifically what should and shouldn't we do? Thank you!
