If you can’t budget $500-$600 above your car payment you can’t afford the car. If your daily driving a sports car your maintenance intervals are that much closer together. We have a 2021 Challenger R/T scat pack widebody shaker that we have driven 12,000 miles so far since we took delivery September 2021. We don’t drive the Challenger very aggressive and we already have to shop for new tires. Keep in mind the widebody Charger and Challenger have 305/35ZR20 tires that are more expensive than the standard narrow body Version of the challenger and charger. The oil changes are gonna cost you about $120 give or take your dealership for synthetic Pennzoil platinum oil. The widebody version has six piston fixed calipers that are more expensive to replace for pads and rotors. Even the tire inflator bottle cost $45 that goes on the compressor in case you have a flat. You’re going to average 14 miles to the gallon when your daily Drive in stop and go traffic. Although on the highway the 6.4 hemi will shine and give you 28 miles per gallon. There’s one thing I can’t tell about driving a muscle car. They are fun and the smiles per gallon or amazing.

Actually 2 to 300 is more realistic because at this point in time if you don't know how to change your own oil or your brakes and rotors something is wrong. And I get it some people just ain't capable of doing it but that's a very small amount but go ahead let the dealership do it which is actually more money than you doing it yourself.

@@Batman-D I completely agree with you since I’ve been changing my brakes, rotors and oil since I was at the tender age of 16 years old. Unfortunately a lot of young people these days have no clue how to perform basic maintenance on their vehicles. Hell most people don’t even know how to check their oil or even checking the transmission ATF oil either. Not to mention a lot of these young adults have no clue on how to drive a manual either.
