HOW MUCH KZbin PAID ME IN MY FIRST 6 MONTHS BEING MONETIZED AS AN EQUESTRIAN CHANNEL WITH LESS THEN 4000 SUBS
I take you on the journey of the highs and lows of horse ownership, so i thought i would show you all how much i have earnt from youtube in the first 6 months of being monitised
Here I share my journey from a complete novice horse rider to now competing at horse of the year (HOYS) shows whilst being a completely self-taught equestrian.
I have failed so many times over the years but always learnt something from it, I hope that my KZbin channel will be able to help teach you all the little bits that nobody seems to share and help progress you on your riding journey quicker than I did on mine.

I compete my 4 Welsh section D cobs regularly in both in hand and ridden showing, from local level shows, affiliated, WPCS, RIHS, to HOYS qualifiers,
Willow - 11yr old Welsh section D - Sooty palomino

Champ - 7yr old Welsh section D - Buckskin
Donut - 2yr old Welsh section D - Chestnut roan
I am a completely self-taught horse rider who has a big dream to compete at HOYS, why not follow my journey to see if we can make it,

I do have a channel .... and it feels impossible to monetize 😂 I recently hit the subs requirement but am still miles away on watch hours. I'm not gonna lie though .... I'm kinda over it now. I've realised I love the process and making the memories and that is more than enough to keep me going. I was shooting a vlog today and Nelly was being so sweet and cuddly .... and I've got that memory on video for ever now. I'd never have picked up a camera in years passed because it was never my thing, but now I have the channel and have made the habit I have SO MANY amazing clips like that and they are absolutely priceless ❤

Yes I have watched your channel and really like it The watch hours are a struggle but they will build up over time, The memories made from having a KZbin channel that you can watch back in years to come is worth more then money xx

Thank you so much This was a video I was looking for when I first decided to try my hand at vlogging, yet I couldn’t find anything. We’ve all got to be real, having horses is very expensive 🤦‍♀️ and we can all do with making a little extra money from time to time

I am loving how open newer/smaller accounts are being about the ins and outs of KZbin. EJM Equestrian put out a video fairly recently talking about the KZbin studio app and explaining the metrics. I learnt a lot! Honestly I find smaller accounts much more relatable (although still enjoy the content of larger influencers too) You are doing an amazing job Karen.

Same! So much more relatable. I feel like bigger channels start to 'put on a show' .... like everything feels staged and intentional. Whereas smaller channels tend to be very real.

I do think that the bigger channels are restricted on what they can and can’t say due to sponsorships, and always want to come across as being perfect all the time, so they don’t show the reality of owning horses x

@@KarenBadrick1 I did wonder if sponsors censor people to some degree. I have never understood the idea of perfection though, it isn't real, it makes no sense and it creates a falseness that can be so harmful. I got fed up with instagram because all I was seeing were perfectly polished ponies filling my feed, then I come home to the reality of s**t stains and broken stuff and I'm like 'oh .... yeah .... life'. And would feel incredibly inadequate. I eventually realised that most of the photos I saw were from staged shoots, not from day to day life .... but not before seriously questioning why my life looked like such a mess compared to other people! Eventually I realised it just wasn't real, and I didn't like that

Thank you, It’s like all these big channels what to hide these details so no one then starts a channel and potentially gets bigger then them, I’m not doing this for the money, anything I do make just goes back into the horses, I’m just having fun filming my journey to look back on xx

At the begining i never took my notice of the analytics of the channel, but now ive started looking into it all it is so interesting, yes comments and likes help spread the videos out to new people haha i dont know about being famous 😂 im so happy to make any money from this channel to put back into the horses xx

Just to get monetized is a pretty good accomplishment. I watch quite a few excellent channels that aren't monetized. That's saving my sanity at the moment whilst I currently don't have a premium KZbin account. (Horses are expensive.)

Thank you No one ever seems to share this sort of information 🤔 This is payment for the adverts, we don’t get paid for our video as such, just the adverts that people watch, Yes we get paid slightly more if people watch the whole advert instead of skipping it x

Do you get paid additional money if the views on those videos go up over time, or is it only the watch views and time on videos in the current calendar month that you get paid for?
