Nelly had sarcriods years ago, she stayed at the vets for a couple of weeks to have the liverpool cream treatment (If I remember correctly it's a radioactive cream?). I don't remember much about it but I assume her's were presumed cancerous due to the treatment method. But there are loads of different types of sarcroids out there. Hopefully there isn't much of a scar, dark skin should be more forgiving that pink skin 🤞

Hello Karen,,, that was some sarcoid thst Ebbie had , i don't remember seeing it on her in previous vlogs . If i remember correctly its a Plastibi sarcoid, there's about 4 _5 different types they come from cattle and then spread by flies and are very common in horses but weirdly less so in cattle , if it were they'd be a national outcry. Its similar to the HPV virus , cattle carry BPV which also spreads to cats dogs foxes etc.... Laser surgery is a good treatment depending on how deep and spread out the roots are, hopefully as Ebbie gets older her immune system will strengthen and keep them away. I noticed Roo had a few wart like sarcoids around his sheath when i got him I put it down to him looking a bit rough and ropey and also being grey , vet suggested leaving them alone feeding him well including a cupful of immune system booster,,, 6 months later all cleared up .... Ebbie looks like she's growing taller ... Till next time ,,👍.

My horse had a sarcoid on his sheath, the vet put a band on it and it took a while to fall off. It ended up looking like the chestburster from Alien!!! 😂 There's not a mark on him, and he's not had any more since. Hope Ebby is fine after her treatment xx

A fly mask would have kept the bandage in place. I thought greys were more prone to sarcoids . Hope beautiful Ebby doesn't get any more

We find the opposite problem with grease in necky rugs with Blue. Gotta keep cleaning his or it rubs out. All the others it works a treat for, although I tend to oil the mane rather than the rug

My 2 year old Welsh D is so itchy and has the same scabs! I've ordered deosect, going to use that and hibiscub then put antibacterial spray on with filtabac. Hope you sort willow out. ❤ hopefully it works xxx

Karen I definitely think your Steve is a keeper. Lots of horsey girls other halfs don't have anything to do with their horses. Off playing golf or something on their days off. Kudos to him. Often when breaking youngsters they are quiet until a few weeks later. I usually say beware for at least a few months 😮. The beauty of those old jute rugs was they needed a roller to kep them in place and so a step to a saddle wasn't really noticed.

Oh I agree, snows on Christmas eve ,so there is snow on Christmas and then it disappears on boxing day ....no slush 😊

You need lights that run off of a big solar panel karen. Like my Steve put on my stable. LEd lights inside stable. Spotlights outside of stable...and worked electric fencing. Lights very bright...well worth doing...My Steve could do it for you if you wanted. He is semi retired...xx
