What's sad is youtube will still play ads on your videos even if you don't meet the subscriber or watch hours requirements. So youtube keeps 100% of that ad revenue until you meet their requirements, if you ever do meet the requirements.

I just reached my first 1,000 subscribers. If I could go back in time and do it all over again, I would of gotten a job at Taco Bell instead building tacos. By now I would of had $150,000 saved in the bank and could retire... whereas with KZbin, I have nothing. Nothing. Couldn't monetize a single thing for all those 15 years. So my advice to you, is to forget YT, it's a crackhead pipe dream, and get a job, any job, anywhere. It only took me 15 bloody years, $50,000+ (5,000+) worth of computer labor, 250 videos and one video that KZbin promoted (i.e. made one of his 3 main buckets) and didn't take a frosty dump on. This platform is the worst. I don't want to develop for it... any more.

In 15 years, I have never given KZbin any money, nor receieved a penny from them. So exactly what money are they suppose to pay others? It's a fraud and an illusion. There is no monetization. It's a con to get peopel to create content for KZbin for free, that KZbin does not have to pay for it's content creation unlike say... Netflix or HBO. A lot of con artists realize it, and captialize on it for views and make videos saying it's all you, you need to do this and that and so on, thumbnails, CTR, watch time, build audience, watch your analytics like a hawk, connect with your audience, cut scenes often to Broll, etc. No. It's not you. THis platform just flat out... swwwx.
